One of the more underrated running backs in the Atlanta area for the 2027 class, this Tucker ball-carrier shined as a junior, averaging an eye-opening 10.2 yards per carry. One of the fastest backs in the region, Tillman also runs with balance and aggressiveness at 5-foot-10 1090-pounds. In total, Tillman ran for 1,179 yards on 116 carries with 14 touchdowns. A shifty, versatile back who can also make plays out of the backfield, Tillman is one of the top running backs across Dekalb County returning for the 2026 season. He'll also see a big bump in the upcoming rankings update this spring.

A slipper back who can be tough to bring to the ground, Coleman is a shifty funner who can break tackles and score from anywhere on the field. He runs hard and has the ability to break off big runs on the perimeter while also breaking through a small hole in the trenches. The small-town back was an easy addition to the latest rankings update after rushing for an impressive 1,169 yards and 18 touchdowns. He was a consistent weapon on the ground, rushing for at least 100 yards in five games last season. One of the top 2027 running backs in West Georgia, Coleman should be even better as a senior in 2027.

A patient, explosive back who really shined in a reserve role last season, Mincey shows quick feet, burst, and the potential to have a gigantic senior season in the starter's role. A two-way player and one of the top athletes on a loaded Toombs County defense, Mincey ran only 46 times last season but took them 383 yards and seven touchdowns. He averaged an impressive 8.3 yards per carry He plays hard, can make defenders miss, and is one of the fastest returning backs in the region. Mincey has easy D1-potential and is in store for a really strong final season in 2025. After impressing as a junior, Mincey was an easy addition to the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings.

A speedy North Georgia running back flying under the radar in Jasper, Wyngaard does a great job of reading the field, getting out to the perimeter, and up the field for a big gain. The quick, elusive 5-foot-9 170-pounder is a natural with the ball in his hands who runs hard and has the ability to score on any particular carry. The Pickens ball-carrier was one of the more productive backs in the area and one of the top returning backs in the region. He dominated as a junior last season, rushing for 1,000 yards on just 113 carries for an average of 8.9 yards per attempt. He plays fast and knows how to score, rushing for 11 touchdowns and hitting the 100-yard four times. Wyngaard should be added to the next rankings update with the potential to see some college interest come his way this summer.

Another North Georgia back on the rise who should see a significant bump in the next 2027 rankings update, Lindo is a physically-gifted 5-foot-10 195-pound back who led the Rabun-Gap Eagles in rushing last year as a junior. Averaging an impressive 8.7 yards per attempt, Lindo is a natural runner with breakaway speed. He's strong enough to break tackles, but his speed and big-play ability is why he'll see a big jump in the rankings. In total, Lindo ran for 891 yards and 13 touchdowns, rushing for at least 100 yards in five games. He has Power Four potential and could be store for an even bigger senior season in 2026.
