The number one running back in the 2027 class for Prep Redzone New York, is [player_tooltip player_id='778700' first='Elijah' last='Kimble']. For the second straight update, the 5'10" 185-Pound Canisius finds himself on top of the rankings in New York. The talented back displays a good frame for the RB position.

Kimble is an outstanding back, who displays elite speed, and good quickness with the ball in his hands. At the second level, he showcases an elite burst, that allows him to take off and run away from opposing players. His footwork, and vision at the LOS, is underrated, as he can find the small

For the second straight update, our second best running back in the state is [player_tooltip player_id='425629' first='Xavier' last='Bala']. The St Anthony's prospect is a national recruit with over 20 offers, and multiple schools he is looking at. Standing at 6'0" 215-Pounds, he displays an outstanding frame for a RB.

On the football field his footwork is exceptional, and he is outstanding with the ball in his hands making players miss across the field, and using his elite speed, to leave DB's chasing after him. He can slow plays down at the line, and make elite level plays at the flip of a switch.

The third best Running back in the state is [player_tooltip player_id='1202404' first='Tyrone' last='Clark Jr']. The St. Francis prospect, stands at 5'10" 205-Pounds, and displays an excellent size for the RB Position. He keeps his spot on the Top Five, after putting together an impressive Junior Season for the Monsignor Martin Squad.

Clark Jr played in a stacked backfield at St. Francis this past season, yet still put together an impressive tape. The RB, displays an elite vision, and he can see the field with ease. Slowing plays down behind the line comes naturally to him, and he uses this to find quick holes across the line which he moves through with ease using his quick speed and good burst.

Fourth in the Running Back Rankings takes us to Staten Island, where we see Tottenville's [player_tooltip player_id='426454' first='Kory' last='Brown']. The 5'8" 175-Pound Prospect displays an undersized but sturdy frame for the RB position. He keeps his spot from the previous rankings, and once again slots into the top five.

The name of the game with Brown is speed, and he has a ton of it. His vision is elite, and he pairs it with his elite speed. He can slow things down at the line, and uses it to reach the second level with ease. His footwork is elite, and he dominates at making players miss across the field.

Fifth on the list is a new name to the top five, but a player who's deserving of the ranking. [player_tooltip player_id='1513218' first='Jordan' last='Bishop'] started his career at Cornwall Central, but will make the move to the PSAL, and join Erasmus Hall for his Senior Season. The 5'9" 190-Pound back, displays a solid frame for the RB Position.

I liked his ability to make catches. He showed a good release, and hands making multiple tricky catches. In Indy RB drills, he showed quick feet, and good instincts. He ran angry at the ground, and showed he could make cuts and change his direction throughout the play. Bishop is a smart, physical, and talented RB, and going into his senior season, I will be watching him closely, and so should colleges.
