*Use code "jackson30" for 30% off your subscription*

In Georgia specifically, kids fly under the radar all year long, and well into the summer before their senior year. Some, even longer than that. Here are 10 guys in Georgia who are overlooked. Every single guy on this list is a D1 caliber player, and there are a combined 2 reported offers between the 10 of them.

I stumbled across this kid back in November, and can confidently say he is one of the best 2027 receivers in Georgia with no reported offers. O'Hara, an all-region performer, was productive at each level of the field. Now up to 6'0 178, O'Hara's ability to separate sets the intrigue here. He has fast, efficient footwork at release points, and his speed over longer distances helps him cover plenty of ground. In contested catch scenarios, he flashes impressive hands and body control. An extremely well-rounded, reliable player. I think he's an FBS talent.

I would confidently consider Coger one of the most overlooked 2027 OL prospects in Georgia. It's hard to argue against the eye-test at 6'5 290, and he moves well at that size. In a wishbone-style offense, Coger gets consistent chances to maul, and he does exactly that. He does a great job of staying engaged with his blocks and brings his feet to displace defenders. On top of that, his explosiveness off the line and good pad-level help him initially control the point. A lot to like about this kid, who hopefully can be unearthed as a prospect.

Simms has two reported offers from Georgia State and Tennessee State, but still is a guy who has flown way under the radar. Simms is a well-built, strong player anchored right in the middle of the defense. He is raw, still developing nuance and footwork. However, he is a natural mountain to move in the middle, and when he does get a chance to showcase his athleticism, it really flashes. I would consider Simms an FBS talent, and think he has a chance to develop into a contributor at that level with proper coaching and development.

I've highlighted Kinlaw before, but I will do it again, because his playmaking ability at his size deserves way more recognition. Really interesting resume as a prospect. He has plenty of production as an RB, but I think he can also find a home at TE or LB. Nearly impossible to tackle in space when he gets rolling. He moves 215 fast and will physically engage defenders in space. I can see a world where his home is at TE, where you can flip the ball to him in the flat and let him roll, while mixing in some wildcat opportunities. Regardless, a true gadget player who is one of the best big playmakers in the state.

I think there's a lot to like about [player_tooltip player_id='2004814' first='William' last='Winters'], who has 0 reported offers right now. Highly productive player hovering around the 205-210 mark, and he carries that weight on a lean, cut frame. I love how he pursues. He takes good angles, but he can really move as well, flashing sideline-to-sideline speed. He explodes through contact, and that will improve as he continues to fill out. I think he would be an excellent PWO addition at a P4 school, and would consider him a clear D1 LB talent.

Latavian James had a really productive junior season, and I think he is only going to get bigger. Really like the athlete and activity in the second-level. Good range, both in coverage and as a pursuer. Just really gets after it and covers a lot of ground, while playing with an energetic edge that flashes. College coaches need to pay attention here, because he offers legit second-level speed, and he has room to get bigger and better.

There's so much to be bullish on with Maurice Swoope, who is coming off a breakout junior season. He is a thin 6'2 200 speed rusher with flashes of excellence. He is quick off the line, can bend, and will turn speed to power when long arming around the edge. Not much to overthink here. Kid can burn off the edge, uses his hands and feet in sequence, and has a lot of space to get bigger. Late bloomer potential here as a prospect.

I wrote about Hughes 2 months ago, but I still feel strongly about his game, so I thought he was worthy of another mention here. A versatile player whose development has bounced all over the place, but he is finally settling down as a WR. Hughes is quick, light on his feet, and a threat to score from any spot on the field. His short-area quickness is simply elite, and I think he has an argument as the best WR in the state with no offers.

Yeldell plays all over the skill spots for Savannah Christian and on both sides of the ball. He does a lot of things well and does so with plenty of energy and effort. He is a long strider at receiver who can quickly get vertical. Physical player when the ball is in the air, consistently making grabs through contact. He has some YAC juice as well. On defense, that physicality translates. He comes downhill and explodes through contact. When you combine his size, athleticism, physicality, and ball skills, it's a bit appalling at this point that he is so underrecruited.

Guys with this size and speed don't often go so long being so underrated, but that's exactly what we have here with Miller. With his frame and length, he will project out as an edge. His first step explosiveness and speed already check the box, but he has speed to power potential as he fills out, especially with his length. He is still capable of playing in space and chasing the ball, which might actually be his biggest strength as things stand today. It could be a big spring for him if coaches roll into Clinch County hallways.
