He takes good angles, but he can really move as well, flashing sideline-to-sideline speed. He explodes through contact, and that will improve as he continues to fill out. I think he would be an excellent PWO addition at a P4 school, and would consider him a clear D1 LB talent.

Long, lean, cut prospect who carries his WT well. Sideline to sideline pursuer with impressive speed. Takes good angles and patiently leverages the ball. Wouldn’t call him a thumper, but he explodes through contact. Uses length to get arms around ball carriers. Really underrated, strikes me as a guy who will pick up some late D1 recruiting attention, maybe even FCS.

Don’t let the quality of competition fool you here. Winters is a big, strong-tackling linebacker from Macon absolutely lighting up the stat sheet right now. He’s the state’s leading tackler in the 2027 class and brings an impressive combination is size, quickness, and physicality. He runs, hits with his pads, and has tackled everything in sight. The promising Middle Georgia linebacker has made 149 tackles so far this season with an eye-opening 17 TFLs and one sack. He’s one of the top 2027 linebackers in the area and doesn’t appear to be slowing down. He’ll see a new ranking come his way in the next Prep Redzone update.
