Who Made Our Top 15? (2028 Rankings)

Welcome back!   We are taking a look at our new 2028 Rankings Update, and more specifically, who's in our new top 15!   These are some of the prospects we've not yet talked about this offseason, so we're revisiting them in the film room and watching what they did in their sophomore seasons!   As always, be sure to take a look at their film below. You won't want to miss out on this kind of talent.    [player_tooltip player_id='1621015' first='Joey' last='Fleming'] is a dominant OT from Huntsville that we ranked as our #1 OL and #9 overall player in the class.   “At 6'6 260, Fleming is a big underclassman who already provides terrific pass protection and run blocking for his team upfront. Fleming is a hard man to beat in the trenches; he explodes off the line, plays with great leverage, and has the strength to consistently pave defenders into the dirt at the LOS and in the open field.   I'm really impressed with Fleming's ability to protect the quarterback- he's a serious anchor on the offensive line who consistently uses his athleticism and physicality to keep pass rushers outside of the pocket, providing tons of time and security for his QB.“   Fleming has generated a ton of collegiate interest through his first two seasons, and it's clear why. He's a top-level OL prospect with tons of athleticism and a high ceiling. Be sure to watch some of his film below, and you'll see for yourself.      [player_tooltip player_id='1624757' first='Darryl' last='Blackmon Jr.'] is a talented WR from Rain we have coming in as our #2 WR and #11 overall player in the state.   “At 6'2 200, Blackmon is a massive receiving threat who plays with a ton of speed and physicality out wide. Blackmon is a talented route runner who gains tons of separation downfield and does a great job using his hands and body control to secure some impressive receptions.   Blackmon is terrific at using his size to physically dominate DBs. He towers over them and has a great catch radius, strong hands, and great contact balance. I was left super impressed with Blackmon's freshman tape- he's a huge threat out wide who will only keep getting better over these next few years.“   Blackmon is a dominant WR who's picked up a fair amount of P4 interest. It's fair to expect him to keep picking up more- he's a seriously talented WR with a ton to offer at the next level. Make sure you watch some of his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1650166' first='Lee' last='Steele'] is a talented TE from Orange Beach that we have ranked as our #1 TE and #12 overall player in the class.   “At 6'6 205, Steele has the speed, hands, and YAC ability to dominate defenses in so many ways. His routes are precise, he gains tons of separation off of DBs, and he's a hard runner after the catch who requires multiple defenders to take him down.   There's a LOT to love about Steele's potential as a pass catcher- he's a dynamic player with the ball who's going to dominate the next few years, just watch.“   Steele is a talented dual-sport athlete in football and basketball with a bright future on the horizon. He's picked up a bunch of collegiate interest, and there's a good reason why. He's put together some dominant tape you can see below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1261454' first='Cortez' last='Carr'] is a talented LB/DL recruit from Buckhorn that we've ranked as our #14 overall player in the state.   “Carr is an incredibly versatile defender who has spent time and made plays down on the line of scrimmage as a DE, and off-ball at LB. Carr can wreak havoc in the trenches- he explodes off the snap, is quick and overwhelms the OL across from him, and can create huge stops behind the line of scrimmage.   Although he's talented as a DL prospect, Carr impresses me even more with his skills at LB- he is terrific in pursuit and can fly around the field to make sideline-to-sideline plays against the run and pass.“   Carr has been unbelievable through his first two seasons. He's a dominant defender with tons of skill and through-the-roof potential. I'm excited to watch him in his junior year next fall. He has a big season ahead.      [player_tooltip player_id='1642536' first='CJ' last='Davis'] is an explosive recruit from Hewitt Trussville we have ranked as our #2 RB/ATH and #15 overall player in the class.   "Although he's lined up and produced pretty much everywhere, I am floored by Davis' talent as an RB. He has great vision, plays with a ton of speed and physicality, and has terrific contact balance that allows him to take on multiple defenders and still come up with huge plays. Davis is dominant in the open field; he easily makes defenders miss and has breakaway speed he uses to outrun entire defenses, and we haven't even touched on his skills out wide.   I'm incredibly impressed with Davis' route running and hands- he finds ways to gain separation all over the field, and can already haul in some highlight-worthy catches through coverage and contact as just a freshman."
