Stock Risers- Talented 2028s Moving Up Our Ranks

He's quick on his feet, is a talented route runner, and has the hands and speed to haul in contested passes and produce a ton after the catch.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Defensively, Thomas seriously impresses me in coverage. He has a high football IQ and great instincts that let him know where he needs to be at all times. As soon as the ball hits his hands, you can count on him changing direction and using his speed to turn upfield for huge plays. He's such a dangerous threat after the catch; his speed allows him to completely separate from every defender on the field.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Obviously, with his speed, Johnson is an impressive deep threat. He runs go</em>s<em>, posts, and other deeper routes to perfection- consistently leaving defenders in the dust to create explosive plays downfield. He put together some dominant film from last season, and is only just getting started. We all need to watch out for him this fall. He played really well in his first year on varsity and will only keep getting better. He's great at finding the open man, can accurately lead his targets downfield, and has an impressive ability to make throws under pressure and off platform.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>On top of that, Mims has some real mobility and speed that he consistently uses to his advantage. He's great at extending plays and can easily turn upfield to move the chains if necessary. Overall, I'm really impressed with what Mims did in his sophomore season.
