Brechen has agility that is hard to miss on tape off the first look at the running back position. The 5'8 175 pounder from Tri-Valley, also has great vision that shows off good elusiveness between the tackles and that can be a tough one to tackle especially beyond the first level of the field. He also appears patient in waiting for his offensive linemen to provide him the space he needs and when you mix those skillsets together, you see a solid path for play on Saturdays in these eyes. TWITTER

There are not too many athletes at Gunner's size at the running back position that show off the durability he has at his disposal getting thru tackles. The 5'10 175 pounder from New Underwood, gets the hard-earned yards and has the vision to get to the outside where he is even more productive getting downhill. Another area that intrigues me with Gunner's skillsets appear with his first cut, as he appears to get more sudden after that cut is made and does so on a consistent basis.

Regan is yet another small town sleeper at running back in this group that meshes his strong finishing ability with plenty of speed when you need it. The now 5'10 175 pounder for the Redhawks, has great vision along the outside edges of the field and runs a verified 11.4 in the 100 meter dash during track season. He is a constant fighter for extra yards and gets that done mostly with contact yards as Regan intrigues me as one that could move up in this 2027 South Dakota class in my eyes.

Cooper is a linebacker that not only is productive in pass coverage at linebacker, but is one that I would certainly say has a bigger range area than he might get credit for from my eyes on tape. The 5'11 175 pounder from Wolsey-Wessington, is also productive with his physicality when he makes contact as he plays bigger than those measurables show for sure. Cooper is also one that has position flexibility for college coaches to look at on both sides of the ball, as his best fit is at linebacker but in my eyes I could also see him playing in the secondary as safety with high upside.

Bennett is one that has been at a few Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcases and his live eval seems to get better and better the more I watch him develop. The 5'11 175 pounder from Britton-Hecla, has long strides for his size and has gotten more instinctive year after year especially with his vision and cutting ability. I think he's even more dangerous as a pass-catcher on intermediate and deep routes as one that is versatile with where he can be a weapon on offense for the Braves. He also shows off strong hands as a pass-catcher and surely has some of the best hands I have seen live amongst our small town sleepers.
