As a defensive end, he has good initial quickness out of his stance. Good get off speed and block shedding. Paul will put his arms up to create pass deflections and even got himself a pick 6. He has very good pursuit and doesn't stop till the ball carrier is in his grasp. Good catching and separation quickness as a tight end. He excels as a blocker. Measures in at 5'10 160-pounds. He had 40 total tackles (24 solo, 16 assisted), 1 INT, and 1 FR. Veasley Jr. has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, jumping, and good change of direction. Smooth and controlled back pedal. Fluid hips to match WR breaking into their steam. Veasley Jr. excels at jamming the WR at the LOS and re-routing through the route. Good man and zone coverage skills. Very good closing quickness to create pass deflections. He impacts the run game as well with his good tackling. He doesn't shy away from contact. I'm excited to see him continue balling out next season!</p>
