Recruiting Report (2/23) Latest Offers in Alabama

We're back with a new Recruiting Report!   Today, we're diving into some recent recruiting news across the state. These prospects have had huge months, so we're diving into the latest surrounding their recruitment.   As always, make sure you watch their film below! You won't want to miss out on this kind of talent.    [player_tooltip player_id='1653616' first='Matthew' last='McIntyre'] is a talented TE from Mars Hill who's been climbing up our ranks the last year and a half.   "I'm really impressed with McIntyre's versatility- he's a physical blocker down on the line of scrimmage who can also produce as a pass catcher. McIntyre opens up tons of opportunities for his teammates at the line. He explodes off the snap, plays with great strength and leverage, and easily drives back defenders to create wide rushing lanes.   McIntyre is just as productive as a pass catcher. At 6'3 230, he has great size, speed, and twitch he uses to create separation and haul in receptions all over the field. It's impressive seeing how McIntyre uses his size to dominate DBs. He's a physical pass catcher who can bring in catches over the top and through contact."   McIntyre's recruitment has taken off this past week, picking up offers from FAU, ECU, Texas State, Georgia Southern, and several others. [player_tooltip player_id='1640014' first='Stafford' last='Willis'] is a talented OL from Arab who's had a huge month in the recruiting world.   "Willis is a dominant run blocker who opens up wide rushing lanes at the line of scrimmage nearly every snap- he plays with great leverage, has a ton of power, and gets great push off the line of scrimmage, holding his own and driving back defenders in the trenches.   Willis is just as productive in pass protection- with his size, strength, and quickness, he matches up really well against DE/DTs and is terrific at mitigating pressure, consistently providing a clean pocket for his QB to work with every passing down."   Since our last update, Willis has added offers from UCONN, UCLA, USF, Oklahoma State, and more!   Willis has been dominating the offseason, and it makes sense why. When you watch his film it's easy to see a collegiate-level player. I'm excited to see his senior season next fall.      [player_tooltip player_id='472861' first='Jamison' last='Roberts'] is an extremely talented QB from Saraland who added some huge offers to his list this past week.   “Roberts has some serious arm talent and throws the ball really well- he has a quick release, plenty of arm strength, and the accuracy to hit his WRs anywhere on the field. Roberts can complete some seriously impressive throws- consistently fitting the ball into tight windows, making tough throws on the run, and taking the tops off of defenses with his ability to push the ball downfield.   Roberts is also really athletic and can make a lot happen with his legs. He's fantastic at avoiding pressure when the pocket collapses and uses his speed and mobility to outrun pass rushers, never putting drives in jeopardy.“   Roberts picked up new offers from Georgia, Stanford, and Maryland this past week!   I think Roberts has a massive season ahead this upcoming fall. He's a seriously talented QB who put together a terrific season of film from his junior year. Be sure to watch him below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1068557' first='Cason' last='Myers'] is a talented QB from Auburn who's seen his recruitment take off here in February.   “At 6'2 190, Myers is an impressive passer who can put the ball anywhere on the field. He has some serious arm talent- he can push the ball downfield, accurately lead and hit his WRs in stride, and has a careful understanding of his team's offense that allows him to keep the ball safe consistently.   It's even more impressive watching how well Myers maneuvers the pocket. He's great at avoiding pass rushers and keeps his eyes downfield to keep plays alive, consistently creating huge plays under pressure. Myers is also mobile and can create big plays with his legs if necessary- he always finds ways to keep the chains moving every snap and never puts the ball at risk.“   Last week, Myers added another offer to his list, this time from Iowa State!   I think Auburn has a big year ahead of them with Myers leading the way. He's been highly productive through his first three years and is set up for an even bigger senior season this fall. Make sure you watch some of his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1666962' first='Cohen' last='Jones'] is a talented TE from Chelsea who's having a huge offseason so far this year.   "Jones is a physical blocker who can open up huge opportunities for his teammates. He's strong, quick on his feet, and plays with great leverage to drive back defenders and create wide lanes.   Jones was a go-to option for Chelsea's offense in the red zone. His size, hands, and route running frequently helped him gain separation and haul in big passes for scoring plays. I'm really impressed with how Jones uses his size to his advantage against smaller DBs, he's a reliable pass catcher you can count on to bring the ball down in contested situations."   Jones has picked up offers from Mercer and UT Martin this past week! With his talent, I'm certain more will head his way soon- we'll keep an eye out.
