is a talented TE from Chelsea who’s having a huge offseason so far this year.
“Jones is a physical blocker who can open up huge opportunities for his teammates. He’s strong, quick on his feet, and plays with great leverage to drive back defenders and create wide lanes.
Jones was a go-to option for Chelsea’s offense in the red zone. His size, hands, and route running frequently helped him gain separation and haul in big passes for scoring plays. I’m really impressed with how Jones uses his size to his advantage against smaller DBs, he’s a reliable pass catcher you can count on to bring the ball down in contested situations.“
Jones has picked up offers from Mercer and UT Martin this past week! With his talent, I’m certain more will head his way soon- we’ll keep an eye out.
Be sure to watch some of Jones tape if you haven’t already! He’s a talented TE with a huge senior year ahead this fall.

Jones, who is ranked as one of the top 10 TEs in Alabama by us here at PRZ, is someone to monitor throughout the next few months. Jones is a big, raw athlete with the scaffold of a noteworthy TE prospect. Certain fluid movements and initial quickness are still developing, but he can roll when he has room to build up, has a big catch radius, and looks the ball in through traffic. He is also willing to mix it up as a blocker. Love the upside here, definitely someone to consider for FBS schools.
