Micah is a running back out of Four Winds that labeled his tape "angry runs" and I felt what I saw in his evaluation that they lived up the the hype. Micah runs with pure authority thru contact and its clear that he's fluid with his burst from start to finish. He's also a running back with good vision that can make his first cut and bring more elusiveness that you might want in your backfield between the tackles. No doubt in my mind this young man is going to be a mover in this running back class with great measurables at 5'10 185 pounds but plays with a chip on his shoulder bigger than that.

Wyatt is is our RB8 in this 2027 class out of Bismarck Century and is one that you have to like how much his speed amps up in high traffic areas into the second level. He's one that if I was his offensive coordinator, I would love to see him in motion running the jet-sweep as Wyatt gets the bulk of his production in the open field on the outer edges of the field. He ran a 4.72 at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase, which tells me that his production in his senior season is certainly should be risen with the Patriots.

There's a 1-2 punch in the Bismarck Century backfield with [player_tooltip player_id='1113086' first='Wyatt' last='Nelson'] and our RB7 in the 2027 class which is [player_tooltip player_id='1321181' first='Carter' last='Wylde']. The 6'0 160 pounder is another speedster around the edges for the Patriots to depend on as Carter is another one on this list that you really see his full burst broaden at full speed once he gets to the second level. He's also a weapon in the return game as I surely have seen Carter get more elusive from last year to this year between the tackles and took a step up with his great vision as well. Surely looks like one that can play on Saturdays in my eyes. Love the way Carter finishes his runs.

Minot North is going to be a backfield I will be watching closely in the 2026 season as [player_tooltip player_id='1893242' first='Cooper' last='Chick'] is back for more as our RB6 in the 2027 North Dakota class. He's one that I can tell quickly has a great football IQ, as when his holes open he's proactive with his fluid speed to take it the distance. The 5'7 170 pounder is an intriguing one when it comes to getting of contact, as I feel Cooper is one that is doesn't lose any of his burst when running downhill, something you don't expect with a running back with his measurables. Cooper is one that his game-speed does the talking in my eyes more than a 40-yard dash will tell you.

Moving over from Nedrose to Minot North this offseason, is our RB5 in the class which is [player_tooltip player_id='1319893' first='Davyion' last='Clemons']. The 5'6 170 pounder is not only a certified speester, but man do I love the growth he's made with his agility from his sophomore season to his junior season. One of the reps I watched, I found myself blinking and thought the play was over, but it wasn't because of that excellent change of direction Davyion has. He BY FAR is the fastest running back in our 2027 rankings and for his size is great thru contact, has excellent vision and surely should get more attention on his recruiting trail soon.
