We made it. During the last few months, Prep Redzone Iowa has updated its 2026-2028 Class rankings and released its initial 2029 Watch List.

More updates will be arriving in the spring as we dig into more film. So, if you haven't yet put together highlights from the 2025 season, there's time to post them before we reevaluate. It will run out quickly, however.

Huskey received varsity run as a sophomore in 2025, setting up what can be a big step forward this coming fall. More time could end up arriving at running back, where he carried four times this past season. It's a skill set that also leaves open a path to playing time on defense and special teams. Huskey's 11th-grade highlight video serves as a resume for what he brings to the table. Lining up as an H-Back, he takes handoffs, making defenders miss with elusiveness and burst. There's straight-line speed that also works in the return game, be it on kicks or punts. On top of all that, he's effective operating from the slot, where he runs crisp routes, finding success in the middle of the field.

Anderson hauled in three balls for 46 yards and added 10 yards on the ground, but most of the sophomore's contributions for Janesville during 2025 came on the defensive side of the ball. He piled up 49.5 tackles, 24 of which were of the solo variety. Anderson registered 4.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and three fumble recoveries. He also returned his lone kick return for 23 yards. Anderson's Hudl page houses his freshman highlights and clips from a game against Don Bosco this past season. He's a physical linebacker that moves well sideline to sideline. Anderson separates from blocks well and gets downhill in a hurry.

Campbell proved to be a big-play waiting to happen with the ball in his hands as a sophomore in 2025. He rushed for 474 yards (8.5 YPC) and five touchdowns in a backfield committee. He also caught three passes for 30 yards and a score. Campbell did it on defense, too, registering 63.5 tackles with 39 of them being solo stops. He added 10.0 tackles for loss, a sack, two interceptions and a pair of fumble recoveries. Campbell averaged 40.3 yards on seven kicks returns, taking one of them to the house, and took his lone punt return back 26 yards. There are highlights from several games on his Hudl page. On them, we witness explosiveness and flat-out speed in a powerful package. Lower-body strength makes him tough to tackle. Vision and sharp cuts add to the difficulty for defenders. He's a downhill defender that wraps up and operates with physicality.

East contributed a tackle for loss and sack as a Waterloo West sophomore in 2025 but he also did work on the offensive side of the trench. The Wahawks reached the postseason for a second year in a row in large part because of the play of the hogs up front. East's Hudl page mostly houses highlights from his freshman season, and scouts will want to see what he did as a 10th-grader. What we can witness is a physical presence that benefits from gaining leverage against opponents. He's strong with good leg drive. It's a skill set that could find success on either side of the ball but might be best utilized on defense with the explosion and power.

Ferrell impacted the competition on both sides of the ball as a sophomore in 2025. He caught 24 balls for 211 yards and carried eight times for 37 yards and a touchdown. On defense, he accounted for 22.0 tackles, 16 of which were solo stops. He added 2.5 tackles for loss, an interception and a pair of passes defended. Ferrell has posted several clips from the past campaign on his Hudl page. While it's limited, we still can see what makes him go. Ferrell is a versatile athlete capable of gashing defenses after taking a handoff or when lining up in the slot. He'll also chip in blocking with a physicality that combines with the athleticism to make an effective linebacker, too.

Gaye spent his sophomore season of 2025 developing on the Valley sophomore/junior varsity team. Waiting your turn often is a right of passage for student-athletes working their way through one of the best programs in the state at developing prospects for the next level. Gaye flashes the potential to be the next in line when watching his 10th-grade highlight video. He's a handful in the middle of the defensive line, physically advanced with a get-off and burst. The mixture of strength and quickness puts many opponents at a disadvantage. Gaye will go right by a slower offensive lineman and overpower others. He is one to watch in 2026.
