He's an explosive runner with great vision for holes in front of him. He's got great contact balance and keeps his legs churning in stalled piles. He's got great footwork, letting him cut quickly and stay on his feet after making moves. He is also a weapon in the screen game as his explosiveness and agility are hard to bring down. He's a slot receiver who primarily works off his route running. He's able to separate over the middle of the field and can make plays after the catch. He's got size and can win deep down the field. He makes a lot of plays on special teams, as he can blow up an entire gap with his speed and size. He can play both on the edge and in the interior. He sets the edge well in early-down run situations. As a pass rusher, he's a bit raw, but his size and athleticism help him a lot. He shows bend in his film, and with more reps and work on his body, it could become a bigger issue for offensive linemen. He can play a bit of everything. He looks comfortable in press man, can play man a few yards off, and can play zone. He has great hand usage in man coverage and can be aggressive without being flagged. He has great instincts for when to break on the ball. He's a lengthy defender. He is quick to react to run/pass and can put himself in a good position early on in plays. He is a disciplined defender who makes tackling look easy. Charlie can use his length to make great plays on the ball and is very useful in the redzone.
