More updates will be arriving in the spring as we dig into more film. So, if you haven't yet put together highlights from the 2025 season, there's time to post them before we reevaluate. It will run out quickly, however.

Barker impacted the action on both sides of the ball as a Durant junior in 2025. Defensively, he accounted for 35.5 tackles, 21 of which were of the solo variety. Barker also delivered 8.0 tackles for loss and forced a fumble. On the O-Line, he helped a balanced Wildcat offense rush for 1,291 yards (5.4 YPC) and 18 touchdowns, and throw for 1,197 yards (16.2 YPC) and 14 scores. Barker stands out for his physicality on both sides of the ball, as we can witness when watching his 11th-grade highlight video. As an offensive guard, he bullies the opponent whether he's in tight quarters or out in space. He moves well, which also makes him effective on the interior of the D-Line. Barker is one that deserves more attention on the recruiting trail.

Beswick enjoyed a productive junior season for West Delaware in 2025. Twenty seven of his 45.0 tackles were solo stops, earning him first-team all-district laurels at defensive back. Beswick rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on six carries. He caught 10 balls for 156 yards and a score. Beswick averaged 19.7 yards on 10 kick returns. He also completed his lone pass for 26 yards and could end up QB1 in the fall following graduation losses at the position. Beswick is best described as a versatile athlete capable of impacting games in all three phases. He flashes his ability and potential for more during his 11th-grade highlight video. Beswick diagnoses plays quickly and can fly to the football. Long arms also help him in coverage and in supporting the run. His frame is such that it can fill out without the loss of his explosion.

Briesemeister caught my attention while operating on the Mount Vernon O-Line during a game at Solon last season. I looked forward to checking out his junior highlights after the season for a closer look at this talent in the trenches. It confirmed that Briesemeister is a prospect of note, one that should be receiving more attention along the recruiting trail. He handles left tackle well on this level. That could be the path in the future. That said, his skill set would play elsewhere along the line. Briesemeister stands out for his physicality and violent hands, but that's not to say he's all brawn. He moves well and easily reaches blocks in space. Briesemeister sets up well in pass pro and displays smooth footwork.

Burke contributed in all three phases as a Carroll junior in 2025. He registered 31.5 tackles, 19 of them being solo stops. Burke recorded 2.0 tackles for loss and picked off a pass. He caught 11 balls for 147 yards and two touchdowns, rushed for 17 yards on a pair of carries and returned a pair of kicks for 26 yards. Burke shows us how he gets the job done during his 11th-grade highlight video. He's a versatile athlete with quickness and explosion to his game. It appears when he's making defenders miss in space or when sprinting by them. Burke flies to the football and arrives at it with bad intentions. His skill set works well on special teams, too.

Waukee faced one of the state's most difficult schedules last season, putting Cosgrove up against some of the top defensive linemen in Iowa. The junior came through with flying colors in helping the Warriors rush for 1,767yards (5.8 YPC) and 23 touchdowns, and throw for 1,652 yards and 13 scores. Cosgrove flashes an all-around skill set lining up at left tackle during his 11th-grade highlight video. The first clip features him pancaking a helpless opponent in the run game. He sets up, slides his feet and walls up in pass-pro on the second clip. The rest of the film includes more domination. Cosgrove is technically sound, utilizing proper hand placement and showing good bend. He plays through the whistle with an edge.

Duncan produced on both sides of the ball as a junior at the Class 5A level in 2025. He even punted a couple of times. It all speaks to the athleticism for a guy that caught 20 balls for 202 yards. He collected 22.5 tackles, 14 of which were solo stops. During his 11th-grade highlight video, Duncan's precise route running stands out. He's quick in and out of his breaks. Duncan sells the route well and understands how to gain an advantage with body positioning. The quick-twitch athleticism that leads to success as a pass catcher also works on defense, where he can stick in coverage and support the run. He'd also be a special-teams' asset at the next level.
