2028 Rankings Update- New Stock Risers (Offense)

In our new 2028 Rankings Update, we are highlighting some talented new Stock Risers on offense to begin our offseason coverage.   We saw this group of prospects have impressive sophomore seasons for their teams this past fall, so we're looking at their tape and discussing where they're ranked now.   As always, be sure to check out these prospects' film. You won't want to miss out on this kind of talent here in Alabama.    [player_tooltip player_id='1621009' first='Nehemiah' last='McCary'] is an explosive RB from Maplesville who's had back-to-back years of dominance, making him our #1 RB and #5 prospect in the class.   “At 6'3 200, McCary has great size, contact balance, and breakaway speed in the open field that helps him consistently create explosive plays on the ground. With his size, McCary is a hard guy to tackle. He's great at lowering his shoulder and trucking through defenders and has contact balance he uses to always stay on his feet.   One of the things that makes McCary especially dangerous on the ground is his elusiveness- he can straight up run through your face, but can also make you miss with how quick he is on his feet. McCary has even made plays on defense; he's an athletic player with tons of potential wherever he lines up.“   McCary has the attention of several top-tier programs at the next level. He's a seriously talented recruit who's only going to keep picking up offers over the next two years.   Be sure to check out some of his tape and see for yourself.      [player_tooltip player_id='1642544' first='Labrayln' last='Williams'] is an explosive ATH from Daphne who's moved up to be our #2 ATH and #10 overall prospect in the state.   "Williams is incredibly quick and has great vision that he uses to dominate when the ball is in his hands- it doesn't matter if he's coming out of the backfield, running out wide, or returning kicks, Williams does an excellent job navigating the open field to carve up defenses for huge gains.   I'm seriously impressed with Williams's skill out wide- he's a talented route runner who can route up DBs for huge catches downfield, while also creating explosive plays off of shorter routes with how he uses his speed and elusiveness after the catch."   Williams is a seriously talented player with plenty of potential for the next level. Be sure to check out some of his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='222965' first='Davis' last='Barnett'] is a really talented QB from Bayside Academy who's now our #2 QB and #26 overall player in the state after his season last fall.   “Barnett is a really impressive passer who can make some impressive plays from the pocket and on the run. Barnett is mobile, great at navigating the pocket, can escape pressure, and can create some huge throws when on the move.   I'm impressed with Barnett's accuracy- he has great ball placement and fits the ball through tight windows to his WRs, consistently allowing them to haul in passes while in stride and make plays after the catch. Barnett is definitely one to watch – he has some serious arm talent and is a quick processor who makes great decisions with the ball. Be on the lookout for him going forward.“   Barnett completed 64% of his passes for 3462 yards and 45 TDs: 12 INT last season, making him one of the top passers in the state.   I can't wait to see what's in store for Barnett this next year. I think he has a huge junior season ahead of him. In the meantime, be sure to check out some of his film below      [player_tooltip player_id='1643087' first='Treiy' last='Crenshaw'] is a talented WR from Douglas who's now ranked as our #6 WR and #39 overall prospect in the state.   "Crenshaw is already 6'4 175, has a great catch radius, and plays with a ton of speed out wide. I'm really impressed with how Crenshaw uses his size to haul in difficult catches- he consistently mosses DBs by high-pointing the ball and hauling it in over the top of them.   Crenshaw is also extremely impressive in the open field and can create huge plays after the catch- he's really fast, can change his direction and make defenders miss, and has the contact balance to step out of tackles and keep running."   Crenshaw recently picked up an offer from Samford, and with his talent, we should expect more to head his way soon.   Make sure you check out some of his tape from last fall. He made a ton of really impressive plays throughout the year.      [player_tooltip player_id='1651373' first='Nash' last='Davis'] is one of the up-and-coming talents everyone needs to watch out for going into next season, and in this update, he's become our #5 QB and #43 overall player in the class.   “It's hard to believe Davis is only a freshman, he's 6'5 205, and has some impressive arm strength he uses to push the ball downfield for huge gains. I'm really impressed with Davis's accuracy and ball placement; he leads his WRs perfectly and does a great job of not putting the ball in harm's way.   It's also impressive watching how well Davis moves around and commands the pocket already. He can avoid pressure and create extra time for himself in the backfield and has the field vision to go through all of his progressions and find and hit the open man.“   Davis is already picking up steam on the recruiting trail, listing offers from Jacksonville State and Samford.
