Mitchell was selected as the QB MVP of the Who's Next camp-and deservedly so. He's got a super solid build for being class of 2030, with a thick lower body. He had some of the best placed throws of the day, one of which was a gorgeous back shoulder throw in one-on-ones. He had the biggest arm of the day, and also clocked the fastest L Drill of any of the attending athletes. And, watching him, he could be a really successful high school football player at an abundance of positions, he's that good of an athlete. Right now he's a do-it-all type quarterback that's gonna make a high school coach very happy in the future. I concur with the coaches that selected him as MVP, I think he was the best quarterback at the event.

Fabian was the other name I had written down who was in contention for my personal QB MVP of the day. The thing that stands out when you first watch Fabian is his footwork. It's robotic, every rep. He doesn't falter or misstep. His release and upper half is smooth as well. All around the rest of what he flashed was super solid, but I can't get past his footwork. It's very advanced for a player his age. His lack of poor throws during one-on-one periods was impressive as well. He embodies consistency, every rep. Fabian should be a starter at quarterback for a high school program very soon.

I was really impressed with Pierro's ball placement and accuracy throughout the day. He's on the smaller side, but has a frame that's got a lot of room to put muscle on and continue to grow. He had a surprising amount of zip and air under the ball for a player his size. He was dealing all day. At the moment-he's an awesome point guard type quarterback. Can effectively distribute and get receivers the ball in a position to do damage after the catch.

CJ reminds me a lot of a quarterback I've covered multiple times this offseason-[player_tooltip player_id='1939703' first='Brady' last='Williams'] from RFH. Both have got a big, thick frame and some really easy velocity with a smooth release. Prototypical, "tall, rocket arm, looks good in shorts" quarterbacks. This size at his age is super impressive, and he's only going to put more muscle on his frame. I thought he had some inconsistent throws, but he's got a lot of time to shore up his footwork over the next few seasons and really take his game to the next level. All the intangibles are there.

Marchetti had some of the most impressive velocity on his throws at the event. He's a bit more raw as a passer than some of the other prospects I've mentioned here, but his natural velocity was an eye opener. The biggest thing he can do for himself at the moment is put on more weight. 6'1 as a class of 2030 athlete is great, but he's got to fill out that frame a bit more. In the end, with his natural ability, when he grows into his body a bit more, he could end up soaring past the quarterbacks I talked about above. He's a guy to watch.
