Final 2026 Player Rankings: Eye-Popping Prospect Film, Part XXIV

Although I consider the rankings process tedious and painstakingly scrupulous, it is a labor of love. What I love, perhaps, the most about it is that after hours of film being watched, I get to highlight and celebrate some of the best film that I watched. Using the Prep Redzone platform, I highlight these prospects and share them with you. After evaluating and ranking over 830 prospects, I am excited to present you this select-group who had film that I enjoyed and considered to be "must-see."

Be sure to follow me on Twitter for the latest New Jersey high school football prospect news and not miss a beat!

[player_tooltip player_id='1894099' first='Sonny' last='Arden'] plays corner back the way I would scheme it up: physical with his hands and trusts his ability to play bump and run. Eyes and instincts are also on display, as Arden gets tremendous breaks on the ball when he is playing about 8 yards off. Knowing he cannot get beat deep, you do not see defenders run wild behind him; adding insult to injury, he has recovery speed and uses it to bait quarterbacks into making poor decisions with the ball. Quality tackling is not lost upon him. We see Arden wrap and do so low. As if that was not enough, Arden delivers the full force of his body through intended targets. This is a prospect that a college coach will look like a genius for acquiring.

[player_tooltip player_id='1695327' first='Synceir' last='Toussaint'] is a prospect that I have actually had the opportunity to watch live. Based on my observations and film breakdown, I suspect that Toussaint's future home will be as a tight end. I saw this based on his release from the line and his size. Skill-wise Toussaint is very good on slants, and knows how to use his big body to shield defenders. In a similar sense, I would not be surprised if played basketball. On tape we see him successfully box out defenders on under thrown balls. He has the same approach when he has a clear and distinct size advantage. Toussaint does a great job of using his hands to high point the ball. Despite being very raw, Toussaint is a willing blocker downfield.

A two-way prospect hailing from the East Coast's Sin City, [player_tooltip player_id='1542303' first='Tamir' last='Rex'] can likely play on either side of the ball. As a corner he breaks on the ball well; however, he likes to fancy himself a big hitter. A bit testy, he will use his hands aggressively within 5 yards of scrimmage. Coverage-wise he is fluid with his speed turn, especially with his hips. We see Rex use the shoulder to flatten defenders. As any athlete should be able to, Rex is able to create for himself when in space, including flashing the stiff arm. Vertical threat skills are present too - he has shown to track the ball over his shoulder well. It is tough to tell, but Rex might be something of a burner, as he has shown to make numerous long plays - this includes playing the wildcat and taking the boundary. Overall, Rex is very shifty and has a good burst of speed.

In a recent conversation I had with a UMass staffer, [player_tooltip player_id='1939781' first='Ted' last='Mondesir'] visited, sat in on meetings, and then called out coverages, checks, and adjustments on the field as a spectator. So, he obviously has the football smarts, which is something hard to judge on tape. The tale of the tape shows us that Mondesir moves so quickly that even the most subtle of his movements come off as dramatic. With strong vertical abilities, he high points the ball extremely well, while also tracking it over his shoulder with just as much proficiency. As a wildcat, he gains the edge with speed and is only tracked down by Hail Mary-type angles. Defensively, Mondesir is a safety/star linebacker type. He tackles physically, low, and wraps extremely well. Along the perimeter he asserts his superior physical prowess as he absolutely destroys want-to-be blockers. A bit of a risk taker, Mondesir will dip underneath, inside-out, to make plays - but at the same time is disciplined enoguh to reposition himself for his run fit. Mondesir has even dropped back to throw the ball, leading receivers as if quarterback was his primary position.
    <h2
