This is my final follow up on our January Showcase. So much talent came to compete and show out. Today I take a look at some talented younger Quarterbacks, an under the radar but very talented 2026 linebacker, and an 8th grader with some blazing speed. Let's not waste any more time and get to it.

Mullins is a talented linebacker for Beavercreek. He had a huge day at our showcase. His testing numbers were strong positionally and overall. A 4.50 forty for a linebacker is elite. A 4.44 Pro Shuttle and 6.75 L-Drill times are really strong. At 6'0 217 he has a great frame to build on. He has the bend and athleticism to play inside or out, but I like him on the inside. He has the speed to run from sideline to sideline from the inside. I think Landon would fit great fit at the D2 level where he could be developed and get on the field sooner rather than later.

Tims' speed and athleticism popped all day long. In the testing he flashed a 4.50 forty. Which is a great time for a high schooler let alone an 8th grader. Not just does he have great straight-line speed, but he is explosive laterally. He showed off a nice jump cut. Julius attended the showcase as a running back, but I could honestly see him playing any skill position offense or defense. As he gets bigger and stronger he'll find a positional fit that suits him best. The future is bright for this young man.

This talented 8th grade quarterback had a great day. Wilmink's 6.72 L-Drill time was a strong time nationally. He more than held his own with the high school quarterbacks in attendance. He has a short and compact throwing motion. For his size and age, he creates a lot of whip and can really spin it. He was on point with his throws all day. I'm excited to see how he continues to grow and develop.

Echelberry had a very strong day. Testing wise he put up a very solid 4.8 forty and a 6.52 in the L-Drill which ranks top 20 out of the 1,700+ who have tested at our events. Echelberry has easy arm strength. He can easily drive the ball without trying to muscle it. I thought he did a good job of throwing to spots and not just the man. With his high-end athleticism and arm talent, Landon should have a big offseason and summer ahead of him.

The freshman from Seneca East high school had a solid day. I really liked the confidence he showed when throwing the ball. He stepped up and delivered strikes. Robinson displayed solid mechanics with the ability to drive the ball or throw the ball with touch. I think Branson has a lot of room to continue to grow and elevate his game.
