Wilmink is a smooth operator at the quarterback position. He has a short throwing motion and a quick release. He has the accuracy to throw to spots not just the receiver. When you watch him in in the pocket you see a calm and confident thrower. Along with his throwing ability you see a quarterback who understands the game at a higher level than most at his age. You see a quarterback who has an internal clock and the ability to go through his progressions.

This talented 8th grade quarterback had a great day. Wilmink’s 6.72 L-Drill time was a strong time nationally. He more than held his own with the high school quarterbacks in attendance. He has a short and compact throwing motion. For his size and age, he creates a lot of whip and can really spin it. He was on point with his throws all day. I’m excited to see how he continues to grow and develop.
