Mentor had a fantastic season finishing 12-1. A big reason for that season was the growth of Jones as their starting Quarterback. He measured in at 6'2 177. He had a strong 40 time with a 4.72 and posted solid times in both the L and shuttle drills. Throwing the ball he showed a quick release and could put the ball into windows. Playing a schedule like Mentor does, Jones will have the opportunity to grow as a quarterback and continue to compete against high level competition and put out strong film. I think Jones recruitment could really take off this summer.

I thought Suess had one of the best days just as a pure thrower. He has really good rotational torque and creates a lot of velocity on this throws. I think he probably had the strongest arm of all of the Quarterbacks in attendance. Suess showed off good explosiveness and athleticism as he had a strong day testing. Drew measured in on the slender side at 6'2 156. For him it's going to be a matter of adding good weight and spending time in the weight room getting stronger. I think he's definitely a talented QB that can play at the college level and be developed.

Arnold had a strong day. I really liked his fluidity and throwing motion. He's really smooth from the moment he decides to pull the trigger to when the ball comes out. His accuracy was on point. His 4.58 in the 40-yard dash is game breaking type speed. His measurables and ability to test well will garner him interest at the college level. He's had to wait his turn at Pickerington North. The physical and athletic traits are there to play at the next level, and I'm excited to see what he can put on film this fall.

I had the chance to see Nile play against an uber talented St. Xavier defense in the playoffs and came away very impressed. He may not be the biggest quarterback, but he's an extremely tough quarterback physically and mentally. The showcase checked the same boxes. His mechanics are sound and he's very accurate. He put his throws on receivers all day. Playing in an offense like Lakota East suits his strengths perfectly. Spreading out defenses finding the open man and putting the ball on them. I could see him starting to get interest this offseason and have that lead into a strong junior season and contact season.

Stewart was a player I was interested in seeing. He measured in at his listed 6'3. He has a long and slender frame to building on. His throwing mechanics solid. His accuracy was good. When it comes to his velocity, I think there's still a lot more in there. He has the looseness and whip he just needs to continue to get stronger. I really like his upside.
