Recruiting Report (1/26)- Latest Offers Across the State

We're back with a new Recruiting Report!   Today, we're diving into some of the recent recruiting news across the state. These prospects have been on fire this week, so we're diving into all the latest surrounding their recruitment.   As always, make sure you watch their film below! You won't want to miss out on this kind of talent.    Captain "Cap" Munnerlyn Jr. is a standout freshman DB from Williamson who's seen his recruitment take off in the last year.   "Munnerlyn is a rangy safety capable of making huge stops every snap. He plays with great speed and pursuit and can work from sideline-to-sideline against the run and pass. I love watching him in coverage; he provides a ton of security over the top and has great ball skills and timing that he uses to haul in some huge PBUs and INTs.   I'm just as impressed with his ability to play the urn. He flies downhill to meet the ball carrier near the line of scrimmage almost every snap, making tackles for little to no gain and not allowing anyone to break into the open field."   In the last week, Munnerlyn has received offers from schools all over, listing them from Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and several other top-tier programs.   I can't wait to watch Munnerlyn next season. He's already one of the top talents in the 2029 class and has put together some impressive varsity tape you can check out below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1651373' first='Nash' last='Davis'] is a talented 2028 QB out of Spain Park who's started to see his recruitment open up.   “It's hard to believe Davis is only a freshman, he's 6'5 205, and has some impressive arm strength he uses to push the ball downfield for huge gains. I'm really impressed with Davis's accuracy and ball placement; he leads his WRs perfectly and does a great job of not putting the ball in harm's way.   It's also impressive watching how well Davis moves around and commands the pocket already. He can avoid pressure and create extra time for himself in the backfield and has the field vision to go through all of his progressions and find and hit the open man.“   A few days back, Davis received his first offer from Jacksonville State! With how talented he is and what he's shown on tape, I'm certain more will be heading his way soon.   Davis has a huge year ahead in 2026. With [player_tooltip player_id='401079' first='Brock' last='Bradley'] graduating, Davis will be stepping into the starting role at Spain Park. I've been high on him for a while and can't wait to see what he does. In the meantime, check out some of his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1700871' first='Tavaris' last='Powell'] is a talented OL from Clay Chalkville who's coming off an impressive junior season last fall.   "At 6'4 295, Powell has great size, strength, and power at the position. Powell is explosive out of his stance, plays with good leverage, and can easily flatten defenders in front of him to help create huge plays on the ground.   I really am impressed with Powell's skill in the run game. He is terrific at paving the way for his RB and constantly creates wide rushing lanes for them to maneuver through. Be on the lookout going forward- Powell is a really impressive prospect."   Powell has seen his stock rise a ton over the last few months. Just this past week, he added another offer from his list, this time from Tulane!   I think Powell is a really talented lineman who will pick up more attention in 2026. He's got some serious talent and potential. Be sure to check out some of his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1142889' first='Quinton' last='Johnson Jr.'] is an explosive WR from Pleasant Grove who just picked up his first offer after his dominant sophomore season last fall.   "Johnson is a talented WR/KR who thrives off his speed and acceleration. As soon as the ball hits his hands, you can count on him changing direction and using his speed to turn upfield for huge plays. He's such a dangerous threat after the catch; his speed allows him to completely separate from every defender on the field.   Obviously, with his speed, Johnson is an impressive deep threat. He runs gos, posts, and other deeper routes to perfection- consistently leaving defenders in the dust to create explosive plays downfield. Look out for this dude next year, he's got a ton of impressive traits."   A few days back, Johnson announced he picked up his first offer from Samford!   I was pumped to see this. Johnson's a really underrated WR who deserves a lot more attention moving forward. We all need to keep track of him in 2026.      [player_tooltip player_id='1664750' first='Keith' last='Richmond'] is a dominant EDGE from Clay Chalkville who had a breakout season for his team's defense last fall.   "Richmond is a versatile linebacker who can make impact plays on and off the ball in a variety of different ways. Richmond is a force at EDGE. He's a dominant run defender with an unstoppable motor and impressive strength, which he uses to fight off blockers and get to the RB for huge stops.   Richmond is just as disruptive off the line of scrimmage. He has the speed and instincts to quickly locate the ball and cover ground to come up with huge stops all over the field."   In the last week, Richmond has picked up offers from Arkansas State, Tulane, and Troy!   With how well he played last fall, I won't be surprised to see him dominate this upcoming season and keep adding offers to his list. Be sure to check out some of his film, he has a huge year ahead.
