Prep Redzone Tennessee held its annual Winter Showcase this past Sunday, where a lot of good in-state talent competed against each other.

Shayne Pickering and I dissected our top overall performers in the last few days, and I'm here to do the same for the tight ends.

This group consists of two rising seniors, as well as two underclassmen. I decided to roll with four, so let's jump right into scouting the best tight ends from Sunday.

2028 [player_tooltip player_id='1704680' first='Jackson' last='Walters'] – Webb School of Knoxville

Knox Webb's [player_tooltip player_id='1704680' first='Jackson' last='Walters'] had an impressive showing at the Prep Redzone Winter Showcase. He was arguably the top tight end at the event, even as an underclassman who's still developing.

Walters has a nice build, standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 235 pounds, with a long, lean frame and excellent athleticism for his position and size. He possesses strong hands and the physicality to make tough grabs and fight for extra yardage after the catch.

The 2028 prospect is also a good blocker, making him the complete package at tight end. He must become a more fluid mover, but he checks most of my boxes for that position.

2028 [player_tooltip player_id='1694360' first='Jack' last='Clinite'] – Lipscomb Academy

[player_tooltip player_id='1694360' first='Jack' last='Clinite'] has been one of my favorite tight end prospects in the state of Tennessee for a minute. He fits the bill of a perfect receiving tight end, already possessing Division I size and excellent traits for his position.

As a 6-foot-6, 210-pound sophomore, he's already one of the tallest kids in his class, but he needs to get bigger. Clinite is lean, but possesses a long frame with room to put on good weight.

The Lipscomb Academy standout has strong hands and receiving skills that are ahead of most players his age. He's a solid blocker, but it wouldn't hurt to develop more in that department.

Overall, Clinite has a high ceiling. Once he puts on good weight and cleans up in some areas, he is going to be a beast.

2027 [player_tooltip player_id='1646108' first='Drew' last='Rempel'] – Page High School

[player_tooltip player_id='1646108' first='Drew' last='Rempel'] is a fun player to discuss, as he's incredibly unique. He's essentially a wide receiver making the transition to tight end.

So, he automatically becomes arguably the best receiving threat in the state at that position.

He does need to put on weight if he plans to make this transition a full-time thing, but he has the long frame and build to do just that. He stands nearly 6-foot-3 and weighs 190 pounds with impressive athleticism and the ability to move very well.

Rempel is very similar to former Middle Tennessee State standout Holden Willis. He was also a former wide receiver who transitioned to tight end and excelled at the position due to his former receiving skills.

The senior could develop into a player like that and generate significant interest from Division I colleges.

Combine Numbers

40-Yard Dash: 4.83 Seconds

2027 [player_tooltip player_id='1952678' first='Teddy' last='Graff'] – The Ensworth School

[player_tooltip player_id='1952678' first='Teddy' last='Graff'] from Ensworth School is another intriguing tight end who possesses great size and natural athleticism, but needs to add weight to maximize his potential at the position.

He stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 220 pounds, but has the frame to add a lot of weight, which would make him a mismatch nightmare for every single team in the state. Graff is a fluid mover with strong hands and a big catch radius, thanks to his outstanding frame.

The 2027 prospect must develop in a few areas before his senior season, but he's someone who could enjoy a breakout 2026 season and draw interest from a lot of college programs.
