Here are some news and notes from the Navy All-American Bowl:

- USC signee [player_tooltip player_id='401273' first='Kayden' last='Dixon-Wyatt'] of Mater Dei had a great week of practice according to reports and made some nice plays in the game on Saturday. He's a real deep threat with strong hands and body control. Dixon-Wyatt had a touchdown reception on Saturday.

- Dixon-Wyatt's Mater Dei teammate [player_tooltip player_id='284103' first='Chris' last='Henry Jr']. had some nice moments in the game on Saturday. Henry has always been a tough one-on-one matchup and showed some wiggle after the catch on Saturday after a short catch in the flat. He has the tools to be the next top receiver at Ohio State which has produced some quality NFL talent at the position in recent years.

- USC signee [player_tooltip player_id='212217' first='Deshonne' last='Redeaux'] of Oaks Christian had some nice runs with not a lot of space from his offensive line. He hits the hole hard and navigates traffic at the first two levels really well. Redeaux has shown in camps an ability to be a very good receiving back out of the backfield and he got some targets in the air on Saturday.

- USC signee [player_tooltip player_id='401223' first='Brandon' last='Lockhart'] out of Sierra Canyon impressed me on defense. Lockhart was flying around the field and closes to the ball very quickly. He was in the hip pocket of receivers on some of the deeper passes down the field as well.

- Mount Miguel's [player_tooltip player_id='401222' first='Brandon' last='Arrington'] got rave reviews from media for his performance during the practices this week. He's a very good press-man cornerback who knows how to use his length and has great recovery speed.

- Tustin class of 2027 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1197214' first='Taven' last='Epps'] announced his commitment to Oklahoma during the broadcast. Epps chose Oklahoma over Georgia, Notre Dame and USC among others and he was previously committed to Texas. He's an outside linebacker at Tustin and may be best suited as an edge rusher at the college level with his short-area quickness and length.

- USC got a jump start on its 2027 class with a commitment from Mater Dei cornerback [player_tooltip player_id='1197619' first='Aaryn' last='Washington']. He chose USC over Nebraska, Ohio State and Washington among others. Washington was injured for parts of his junior season but could be a great nickel corner at the college level or play on the outside.
