We recently released our January 2027 Rankings Update, and it's time to break down the players who tell the story of the update. I've hit a couple of big-picture items so far, namely three things to know about the class and my traditional behind-the-scenes piece. We've looked at several position groups, and now we're breaking down the big guys up front. Here are our 2027 offensive lineman stock-risers.

Tuionetoa's meteoric rise has been impressive. Once a defensive lineman at a smaller school, he transferred up to Hough and became the starting center on arguably the top team in the state. He's put on plenty of good weight, and his strength and aggression have won him admirers at the college level. He's a guy who, if he continues to develop, could turn into an FBS IOL prospect.

Phillips recently transferred to Ashbrook, but he played his junior season at Forestview, where he had a strong showing as a center. His snaps are excellent, even as Forestview often used deeper shotgun sets. He has plenty of raw power and anchors well, allowing him to move bigger defenders.

Cherry just put together a fantastic season for Providence Day as the Chargers rolled to an undefeated year. Cherry really improved his game as a junior, showing that our previous belief that he's a Division II prospect was probably wrong. He's bigger, stronger, and quicker, giving him clear FCS potential at center or guard.

Fisher is an imposing tackle with some positional versatility. He's still in the process of reshaping his body and adding more weight to a frame that can hold a bit more. He moves well, and he has a nasty streak to finish blocks. There's some projecting needed here, but we like his upside a lot.

Amidst Crest's explosive offense and talented skill players, it was easy to lose sight of Albright in the big picture, but on a down-to-down basis, few players made as big an impact as the rising senior. He's massive and can play tackle, but he thrived as a center this season, showing no issue with snaps and anchoring the middle of a talented offensive line.
