2029 Maulers in the Making: 16 Early OL to Know

We got to see him perform in person twice now, once before his freshman year and at our recent Stock Up Showcase, where he impressed both times. Baker's physicality and hand use stood out on film as a young lineman with good early size to pair with his ability. He became a varsity starter in his freshman season and showed early upside and potential against a tough schedule. While Swayne took his lumps at times, he hung in there and produced quality film for a young lineman that you can confidently project into a bright future as a player and prospect. He has upside on both sides of the line and may have even looked better as a defensive lineman. Smailes is ahead as a run blocker compared to pass pro, which is expected from most young linemen.
