I don't claim to know a whole lot about the art of long snapping. It's a position where you often go unnoticed unless the snap is airmailed over someone's head. That said, Wength appears to possess the accuracy and consistency the spot requires for success when watching his junior highlight video. On top of that, the folks with expertise in evaluating snappers of the football, Kohl's Kicking, rank Wenthe as the No. 9 long snapper nationally in the 2027 Class, saying: Wenthe has the snapping ability to be great and will be an elite prospect as he develops physically.

We liked what we saw from Williamson during the state semifinals at the UNI-Dome last month. The junior played a key role in helping the Tigers post 10 wins, the most for the school since at least 2007, according to Bound. Williamson paced the team in receptions (53) and receiving yards (623), and ranked second on the squad with eight touchdown catches. Eighteen of his 21.0 tackles were of the solo variety with one resulting in lost yardage. He picked off five throws and was credited with 12 passes defended. Williamson's 11th-grade highlight video features a versatile athlete with speed. South Hardin likes to take advantage of those assets on offense by getting him the ball in space. Defensively, which is where he probably fits best on the next level. Williamson flashes upside as a well-rounded defensive back capable of locking down in coverage or crashing down in run support.

While it didn't pay off in wins during 2025, Des Moines Roosevelt's roster housed a collection of interesting college prospects. Wold stood out among it. The junior led the Roughriders with 41 receptions and 440 receiving yards, and caught a touchdown. The junior also carried the ball five times for 88 yards and a score, and worked as a returner, too. Wold's 11th-grade highlight video reveals a prospect that stands out for his speed. The first few clips show him getting the ball near the line of scrimmage and outrunning the defense. Wold looks comfortable operating out of the slot, delivering crisp routes and sure hands.

Cabildo was a force on defense for a J-Hawk outfit that took a step forward in 2025. The junior piled up 42.0 tackles, 39 of which were solo stops. He delivered 2.0 tackles for loss and a sack, and averaged 17.2 yards on four kick returns. When we pop on Cabildo's 11th-grade highlight video, we witness a legitimate college prospect on both sides of the ball. It would depend on where staffs on the next level best see him fitting into their programs. On offense, he's slippery out of the slot, ripping off clean routes and exploiting holes in the middle of the field. Cabildo really shines in the secondary, equally effective holding it down in zone or pressing up in man.

Thoreson was a dominant offensive presence in 2025. The junior hauled in 75 catches for 1,206 yards and 16 touchdowns. He chipped in on defense, too, with 21 of his 23.0 tackled being solo stops. He intercepted two throws, and his lone punt return went for 14 yards. We see how Thoreson gets the job done during his 11th-grade highlight video. A tall target with long arms, his catch radius is a problem for most defensive backs. That might lead people to believe he only traffics in contested catches. That assumption would be incorrect. Thoreson is adept at eating up yards after the catch with elusiveness and breakaway speed. It will be interesting to see how Thoreson does on the camp circuit because the potential is significant.

On a roster filled with college prospects, Stewart can sometimes get lost in the shuffle at Dallas Center-Grimes. It would be unfortunate if colleges missed the boat on this one, however, because his upside his notable. As a junior this fall, he produced 29.5 tackles with 23 stops being of the solo variety. He posted 6.0 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks, illustrating his ability to be disruptive. We can witness the anarchy he creates when watching his 11th-grade highlight video. On it, Stewart impresses with his understanding of setting the edge to funnel plays into inside help. When there's a path to the ball, he separates well from blocks and moves quickly in for the tackle. Stewart could raise his stock with a strong performance on the camp circuit this summer.
