He's a big kid whose size could translate to the next level. His 6'0" and 200ish pound frame isn't just for show, he is a strong runner. You can tell he is in the gym almost every day and that's a huge part of the process that some people just don't have the work ethic to do. His deceleration was what separated him from most other players at the event. He was able to stop on a dime, turn around, and explode the opposite direction in the blink of an eye. Could see him having success with patience! With his quickness, waiting for the hole to develop and diving through would give him the space he needs to create bigger plays. He's already got a good feel for his athleticism and didn't overdo it. His footwork was sound, and his hands looked good. That makes sense because his hands measured in at 8.75" and he's still growing. He's playing with a lot of great upperclassmen that should give him help where needed. He was working super hard at the showcase and didn't disappoint. His end-to-end speed wasn't among the top, but his lateral movement and first step explosiveness were all there. He'll be looking to make a statement on the Varsity level this year. I believe he has the framework of a 3-down back. Only time will tell how he performs as a close to full-time, if not true bell cow back. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
