With snow prepared to roll into the Hudson Valley, Athletes from across the North East packed into Hudson Sports Complex to compete, and showcase their skills at the Prep Redzone NY Stock Up Showcase. This was our first edition of the Showcase, which had its own event, after pairing with NJ for multiple years. With 16 Quarterbacks in attendance in Warwick, we take a look at some of the top performers from the showcase at the QB position, including my personal QB MVP.

Martinez was a playmaker I had high hopes for, and came in with a lot of hype around his name, after a solid Junior Season. The Holy Cross QB, had solid combine numbers and ,measured at 5'11" 175-Pounds giving him a good build for the QB Position. Martinez had an amazing day throwing the ball, and I liked his reps in 1v1 Drills. He displayed good accuracy, and mechanics on his throws. He could add some more velocity, but his balls had a nice touch on them throughout the showcase. Martinez was easily a top performer in Warwick, and I am interested to see him during 7v7 season.

Royal was a name that caught my eye in Warwick. He is a guy we have as one of our top QB's in the 2028 Class, and he made a great impression during the showcase. Hailing from Middletown, this showcase was local for him, and he showed out for his hometown. Royal had solid combine numbers, and while he is on the shorter side with his build, he has tons of room to grow. His mechanics could use some work, but his balls had great touch on them, and a good velocity. I liked his accuracy on said throws, and during 1v1 drills he gave his receivers the best chance to make plays.

Barnwell was in the Top Three at the QB Position for me in Warwick. The NFA QB, is coming off a solid Junior Season, and impressed scouts and coaches during the Showcase. Barnwell, had an amazing day throwing the ball. His combine numbers were equally as impressive. In 1v1 drills, he displayed his ability to drop the ball in the basket in over the shoulder throws. He hit multiple throws on all three levels, doing so with an accurate ball, and good mechanics. I liked what I saw from Barnwell, and his frame gives him an advantage, as he is already ready for the next level. Barnwell was a top performer, and a guy who has potential to explode next season.

Coan was the youngest player in attendance in Warwick, and by far the youngest QB. Coan comes from a family of QB's, with his older brother heading to Lehigh next season, and his cousin a former college star. In Warwick, Coan impressed due to his age. He held his own against some tough competition. I liked his ability to hit routes on the sideline, and his placement on balls was good. He has work to do if he wants to continue to improve, but the young gunslinger has a bright future ahead of him.

After leading his team to the Catholic League Semifinals in his first year as a starter, we were able to get a better lock at Diieso in Warwick. His combine numbers were impressive, and he reached near the top of the leaderboard in multiple drills. The Friar QB, showed good mechanics on his throws, and I like his ability to sneak the ball into tight windows. His accuracy and strength were evident throughout the afternoon, and he showcased why he is one of the top in-state 2028 QB's.

[player_tooltip player_id='1620847' first='Amir' last='Wallace'] was a name that I recognized. He is a player who grew up in New York, but is heading to St. Joseph Reigonal for High School. The Freshman QB, had a good performance in Warwick, and the Green Knights have a bright future in their QB room. Wallace, showed good mechanics and solid footwork throughout the day, both of which can be further improved. He mainly impressed with his accuracy. He fit the ball into tight windows, and did so with perfect balls on multiple occasions. Wallace is a talented Freshman, who has room to grow, and will easily be a top NJ QB in 2029.

Fortin had the most impressive combine of all the QB's. His testing numbers were in the Top Three for the position in each drill. Fortin is another 2028 Friar who came to Warwick, and he also put on a show. Fortin displayed good size, standing at 6'3" 180-Pounds, and still has tons of room to grow. Fortin had an amazing day throwing the ball, and I liked his motion and mechanics during 1v1 drills. His accuracy, was also on display as he placed the ball beautifully on multiple throws throughout the afternoon. Fortin has a bright future at the QB Position.

[player_tooltip player_id='2059285' first='Brady' last='Williams'] is my PRZ Stock Up Showcase QB MVP from the NY Showcase. Williams was one of the top QB's at the NJ Showcase, and backed up his performance with another dominant one in NY. He measured 6'4" 266-Pounds, showing an NFL ready build as a Sophomore. Williams had the best mechanics, and showed elite accuracy and strength on his throws. I like his velocity as well, and he had an amazing day In Warwick. Williams is a future College Starter.
