With snow prepared to roll into the Hudson Valley, Athletes from across the North East packed into Hudson Sports Complex to compete, and showcase their skills at the Prep Redzone NY Stock Up Showcase. This was our first edition of the Showcase, which had its own event, after pairing with NJ for multiple years. With 6 Running Backs in attendance in Warwick, we take a look at some notes I wrote down for each RB during the showcase. For combine numbers, I will use the best attempt from each drill.

Bishop is one of the top RB's in a stacked 2027 class for New York. The Cornwall Central Prospect, is coming off a solid season where he led his squad to the Playoff Semi-Finals in Class A. Bishop Measured in on the smaller side at 5'9", but he makes up with it by measuring in 191-Pounds, displaying a solid build for the RB position. He has room to grow, and can easily fill out his frame. In 1v1 drills, the receiving ability was on full display, as he made multiple nice catches during that portion. In Indy, he showed quick footwork, and body control while making cuts. Bishop is an underrated guy in the stacked 2027 class, but I liked what I saw from the talented RB.

Bordeaux was in my opinion one of the mist impressive athletes at the camp. He is big strong, and built for football. He measured in at 5'10" 186-Pounds, and as 2028 Prospect, he displays an excellent build with plenty of room to grow throughout High School. Bordeaux is the definition of a power back, and in a stacked backfield behind [player_tooltip player_id='425629' first='Xavier' last='Bala'], the 2028 ATH is easily one of the top backs in the state. In the open field, he displayed a quick burst, along with the ability to plant his feet and change direction. He made smart decisions and sharp cuts throughout the afternoon, and was impressive with his polish through 1v1's and drills. Bordeaux is player that scares me to see on the football field, and the talented 2028 RB is next up in the state.

Fry was fresh off a State Championship appearance, and put on a show in Warwick. Another impressive 2028 back, he measured in at 5'11" 173-Pounds, showing an impressive build for a Sophomore. On tape, and paper he reminds me of a Germie Bernard like player at Alabama who can lineup as a WR, and an RB. Fry competed with the RB's in Warwick and had a solid showing throughout the day. His speed and track build were his biggest additions during the showcase, as they allowed him to break free, and run down hill faster than anyone. In 1v1 Drills, he showed the ability to run routes, but can use work in that area. His hands also were a factor as he did have a drop or two on the day. Overall Fry had an impressive showing in Warwick, and left with the ability to potential play multiple positions on Offense.

Lach was a name new to me, but a player that had a solid performance in Warwick. The 2029 RB, stood at 5'11" 200-Pounds, and shows an NFL and College Ready build as a Freshman. Lach will find himself ranked in the initial 2029 NY Rankings. His testing numbers were decent, and he should work on Speed as a RB, but has plenty of time given his age. Lach had a solid few reps in 1v1, showing his catching ability, but he should look to use his hands more as opposed to his body. In RB drills, he showcased himself as a Power Back, and displayed the ability to turn up field. The Long Island Freshman has a bright future, and was certainly an eye opener in Warwick.

Amaro Jr, is a new name for me, and certainly one who will find himself ranked in the next wave of the rankings. Amaro Jr, measured in at 5'8" 150-Pounds, giving him a smaller build for a RB. I want to see him reach 175-Pounds, as I feel he will end up at 5'9-5'11". He can play on both sides of the ball, but RB is his main position. Throughout the showcase, he made his name known. He was in the middle of the pack for all drills. With more reps he improved. He displayed quick feet, that allowed him to keep pushing through plays. His high motor was on full display, and he showed smooth moves and cuts throughout Indy, and 1v1 drills. Amaro Jr, is a new name to watch in the 2028 Class.

Paganuzzi is a rising RB star in Section One, and should receive more carries as a Junior this upcoming Season. He measured 5'9" 170-Pounds, and shows room to grow, which will help him fill out his build. He showed flashes in testing, Indy, and 1v1 drills. Paganuzzi has a bright future, and I liked how he attacked defenders in 1v1 drills. In one rep he made a LB look silly, and made a god catch. He has solid footwork, and the ability to move up field on drills. Paganuzzi has a bright future, and Pelham has a future star backfield.
