Speed And Footwork: 2029 Offensive Athletes On The Rise

The 2029 Class, might be one of the best classes in recent history, across the state of New York. With talent coming from across the state, and a top to bottom loaded class at all positions, it is no secret that this class will be heavily recruited by Colleges from across the country. In this article we take a look at five offense playmakers, who use speed and footwork routinely to dominate at their positions. Taylor is part of an impressive freshman class for the East squad. Taylor made his first appearance on varsity season, and is mainly used as a RB, standing at 5'10" 175-Pounds, displaying an outstanding frame for the Position. Taylor might just be the fastest player in the 2029 class, and when he sees a hole across the line, he is gone. His footwork is amazing as well, as he utilizes sharp cuts, and displays good balance allowing him to escape crowded areas of the pocket with ease. He can also lineup as a WR, where he shows a good first step and exceptional hands. Taylor will find himself as a National Recruit, and is certainly the next RB up in NY.     Magro is a player who is intriguing in the 2029 Class. Standing at 5'9" 155-Pounds, he has an undersized frame, but is still growing, and shows the ability to fit into a WR frame. Magro has limited in game film for the Friars, but was a star standout at our PRZ Winter Showcase, and was easily an impressive athlete. He showcased an elite route running ability, paired with good speed and hands off the line. Magro will have a big impact this season with St. Anthony's, and watch out for him moving forward.     Iona Prep has a good history with TE's with Justin Jolly, and the next TE, might be even better. [player_tooltip player_id='1639318' first='Anthony' last='Menghi'] is a 2029 Prospect, who is part of the exceptional 2029 Class, the Gaels have. Standing at 6'1" 195-Pounds, Menghi displays an exceptional build for a TE, and displays versatility, with the ability to lineup out wide as a WR, and as a TE. Menghi off the line is an exceptional athlete, who gains separation easily. Down the field, he is a major threat, and showcases elite hands, making tough catches look easy. Menghi is the next big time weapon out of Iona Prep.     Heading back upstate, we take a look at the QB Position, where we see [player_tooltip player_id='2103001' first='Evan' last='Mangone']. The Rush-Henrietta Prospect, is the younger brother of 2027 Prospect Brendan Mangone. Standing at 5'9" 160-Pounds, he displays an exceptional frame for an Athlete, and can fill out his frame to grow as a QB. Mangone is an excellent athlete, who can escape pressure with ease, and uses his good footwork and speed to make throws on the run look easy. With his presence in the pocket, and use of legs, he displays the ability to be deadly as an RPO playmaker, and an Option playmaker. Mangone is next up for Rush-Henrietta.
