With snow prepared to roll into the Hudson Valley, Athletes from across the North East packed into Hudson Sports Complex to compete, and showcase their skills at the Prep Redzone NY Stock Up Showcase. This was our first edition of the Showcase, which had its own event, after pairing with NJ for multiple years. With 16 Quarterbacks in attendance in Warwick, we take a look at some notes I wrote down for each QB during the showcase. For combine numbers, I will use the best attempt from each drill.

Talbot was a name which was new to me, as he came all the way from New England to compete in New York. The Freshman, measured in at 5'9" 145-Pounds, which displays a solid build with room to grow. I want to see him reach 5'11" 180-Pounds throughout High School, to fill into his frame. Talbot was a guy I did not get the best look at throughout the day, but he seemed to have a solid day throwing the ball. From the few reps of Talbot I did watch, he appears to have solid mechanics, paired with good arm strength. I didn't get a broad look of him, but he was accurate on the throws I did watch. His Testing numbers were average for a QB, and he had a solid Showcase in NY.

Dipasquale, was one of the QB's I was curious to watch. The Crusader put together a solid JV Film this past season as a Freshman, and is one of the top 2029 QB's in the Catholic League. Dipasquale, measured in at 5'9" 170-Pounds, showing a good build for the position. He should look to fill out his frame, and the 5'11"-6'0" 190-200-Pound benchmark can easily fit the young QB. He had a solid day throwing the ball and I liked his ability to put the ball in tight windows. Dipasquale, has solid footwork, and a good release. His mechanics can use some work, but the Stepinac QB, has a bright future at the QB Position.

Diieso was the QB I was the most excited to see, and he did not disappoint. The 2028 Friar burst onto the scene this season, and led the Friars to the CHSFL Semi-Finals. Diieso, had a good day throwing the ball, and was impressive throughout the showcase. His combine numbers were amazing, as he was at the top of the charts for his position in every drill. and he made his case for the best QB in attendance. Diieso had excellent accuracy to pair with a good touch on his balls. I like the velocity he threw with, and he displayed some good arm talent throughout the day. Mechanics and Footwork are the things to work on for Diieso, but standing at 5'10" 170-Pounds, he can also look to work on filling in his frame.

Farrelly was another intriguing 2028 CHSFL QB I was looking to see in Warwick. He measured in at 6'1" 149-Pounds, which gives him a slim build for the QB Position. He needs to put on weight, as sitting at 6'1" he is the ideal height for a QB, but should look to reach the 175-190-Pound mark throughout High School. Farrelly had a good day throwing the ball, and displayed some good accuracy during 1v1 Drills. His mechanics caught my eye, as he was able to get the ball out fast but lacked velocity on some throws. The future of Kellenerg is in good hands with Farrelly, and his showcase performance showed why he is one of the top QB's in the state.
