Jackson was a new name in the 2027 class to my radar out of Rapid City Stevens that caught my attention as one of the better route-runners I found at the running back position at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase on Sunday. In what was one of my favorites rep of the day, Jackson not only made a great reception on a throw that was a bit off his line, he also showed off his athletic traits in the process displaying his vertical, rotational hands, and finished the catch with ease. Hopefully we can get our eyes on what Jackson was able to do with those hands in that Raiders offense in 2025, cause I liked a lot from what I saw on Sunday in that one rep alone.

Major ran one of the fastest L-drills we saw in person on Sunday in Aberdeen, recording a 6.89 in the L-drill which was tied for second out of 120+ athletes in attendance. Major is a running back you couldn't miss on the eye-test if you were in attendance as he looked every ouce of 5'7 189 pounds that reports a 550 squat in the Bon Homme weight room and it surely shows. Major I felt got more effective as a route-runner from the last time I saw him in the live eval, as he put the linebacker on stilts in the rep he posted via Twitter in what would have exploded for a monster gain if we were in pads on Sunday.

I had Beckham as our RB1 in the North Dakota 2028 class prior to the 2025 season and he surely proved why we had him ranked where he was at Sunday's Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcases. Out of 120+ athletes in attendance, he ran the fastest L-drill with a whopping 6.89 at a verified 5'11 181 pounds. He also ran a 4.41 pro shuttle which is another intriguing area that showed off the change of direction that Beckham has at his disposal Beckham showed off during his Indy reps how well-rounded he is at the running back position as I thought his skillsets he showed off with the ball in his hands and as a pass-catcher were very balanced as he showed off soft hands I loved watching how he finished his runs. He is certainly going to be a tough RB1 to beat by this next rankings update in my eyes.

Mack was one of a couple offensive skill studs that picked up their first offer on Sunday after our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase as we have been on Mack for a while, as our RB2 in the 2027 class in South Dakota. I have been convinced since college camps last summer, that running backs like Mack in this state are a dime in a dozen. He showed off the always consistent burst of agility, increasing speed, and power as he's had an ideal next-level frame since we first idenitifed him a couple years ago. He got faster in the 40 yard dash (4.8s) and smoother with his his change of direction loggin a 4.59 and 7.28 in the L-drill which if you are looking for a running back that can finish with motor and durability, Mack is a running back you should target in the 2027 class that keeps getting better every live eval.

RB MVP

I knew even prior to our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase that Beckett was probably the best bet to win RB MVP, and he proved our analysis correct in his showing in Aberdeen on Sunday. Beckett showed off an even deeper football IQ in his reps on Sunday, as watching his change of direction and the balance that is constantly shown during individual drills got eye-popping seperation off the linebackers and this happened often. He also has gotten more juice with his accelerator, as he ran a 4.59 40-yard dash was one of the fastest out of the 120+ in attendance. The first team All-State running back from Bismarck St. Mary's now has his second RB MVP at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase. The NSIC offers have gotten started, but I surely have been consistent that have had a Division I grade on Beckett from the start of his freshmen year. He also placed in all two categories with our new scoreboard with the Universal Speed Rating, as he was third in the 40-yard dash (4.59), and first in pro shuttle (4.25). He is one of the best running backs North Dakota has seen over the last handful of years.
