Major ran one of the fastest L-drills we saw in person on Sunday in Aberdeen, recording a 6.89 in the L-drill which was tied for second out of 120+ athletes in attendance. Major is a running back you couldn’t miss on the eye-test if you were in attendance as he looked every ouce of 5’7 189 pounds that reports a 550 squat in the Bon Homme weight room and it surely shows. I am liking the straight line speed Major accumulates quickly and it remained consistent throughout his carries last Friday. The body type surprised me (in a good way) as Major showed off constant fluid movement in every rep I got to watch from start to finish which was intriguing. His burst amps up quickly into the first level and even if slightly off balance, he is intriguing for how sound his top speed can get even at not 100% balance. I feel Major could be boost his exposure by putting together a highlight tape from last year of his best plays, as there certainly were some good reps that could rise his stock on our board and college football boards.
