So many of Ohio's top prospects had film that popped before last season, yet made even bigger strides forward in 2025. These four prospects had junior film that really stands head and shoulders above all the rest, and show an upward trajectory in their high school careers. Here is a quick breakdown and updated evaluations on four of the Buckeye State's best prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='1285635' first='Kalel' last='Johnson'] has developed into one of the top prospects in the Buckeye State. At 6-foot-7, 305 pounds, he has a big, broad-shouldered frame that can't be coached. Although I'd like to see him play with a little bit more bend and leverage, he has a very good first step for his size, fires forward to the second level and can be a road grader in the run game. He has only gotten better and better at Moeller, and I'd expect another big step forward during his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='949774' first='Lual' last='Aleu'] really developed into more of a technician during his junior season. Before 2024, he was very raw, just a big athlete who needed to learn the more fundamental aspects of the position. In 2025, he plays with so much better hand placement, strike timing and has a good first step. He plays with adequate bend, leverage and can mirror rushers effectively in pass pro. Expect big things from the 6-foot-5, 295-pound lineman for Chad Murphy's Winton Woods program.

[player_tooltip player_id='1207697' first='DAngelo' last='White'] is one of the best all-around prospects in Ohio. At tight end, he flashes good hands and can be a powerful run blocker who runs his feet on contact and drives defenders off the ball. For all his strengths on offense I like him even more as a defensive end/edge, where he has surprisingly quick foot speed for his size and takes great angles as a pass rusher.

I saw Charles Alexander in-person at his college day last spring and he really shined in front of college coaches at all levels. I thought he had tremendous upside, and it showed this season. The Louisville commit is a tall, long-limbed wideout who has great ball skills. He displays great adjustment high/low, has great burst off the LOS and can make some amazing catches look easy. He is also very shifty after the catch.
