DAngelo White DAngelo White 6'5" | 230 lbs | TE Villa Angela-St. Joseph | 2027 State OH is one of the best all-around prospects in Ohio. At tight end, he flashes good hands and can be a powerful run blocker who runs his feet on contact and drives defenders off the ball. For all his strengths on offense I like him even more as a defensive end/edge, where he has surprisingly quick foot speed for his size and takes great angles as a pass rusher.

D’Angelo played great as a Sophomore in 2024. His very good play helped the Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings to an 8-win season where they averaged 39.8 points per game. He lines up in the slot. He displays good hands as he makes the catch. After the catch is made, he uses his solid play speed to outrun defenders before scoring a TD. He is a solid run blocker as he exhibits good physical toughness as he overpowers LB creating a lane for the RB.

While White came into this offseason hold several P4 offers, building on a strong sophomore season he continues to add major P4 offers to his list. The big sophomore Tight End is both a weapon in the run and pass games. White is a really good blocker who blocks well both on the line of scrimmage and in space. In the pass game he’s a solid route runner with the size to body up defenders.
This offseason White has picked up offers from Washington, Penn State, Alabama, and Auburn among others. Being that D’Angelo is only a sophomore I would expect that list to continue to grow.

White is an excellent blocking tight end. He is a good puller who shows good strike timing with his hands. He flashes a mean streak, especially when blocking in space, and also contributes on defense as an ‘end. Would like to see how well he plays as a receiver, but his upside is through the roof.
