<li>Marquise is a unique defensive end prospect with an elite blend of power, speed, and length. McIntyre-Dailey had a solid season in which he recorded 44 tackles, seven TFLs, and two sacks. An impressive aspect of Marquise's game is his ability to use both speed and power to win matchups and being able to convert a quick get-off into an explosive punch at the LOS.</li>

<li>The Millard South defensive line was full of college-level talent, including defensive end [player_tooltip player_id='2044987' first='Brody' last='Anderson'], who is still uncommitted despite leading the state in sacks. Anderson was a monster in the trenches who lived in the opposing backfield recording 40 tackles, 13 TFLs, 12.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries, and a fumble recovery. Although Brody may be considered "undersized" by some metrics, his aggressiveness and physicality at the point of attack have made him incredibly difficult to contain.</li>

<li>Tyson was a key contributor to a suffocating Waverly defense as their athletic interior defender, showing he can be a great run stopper and pressure the QB. At 6'5" and 255 lbs, Heine has the ideal size for the next level with room to continue packing on mass to his frame. Heine plays with a nonstop motor that keeps him running from snap to whistle, and he has enough speed to track down ball carriers and scrambling QBs with ease.</li>

<li>Elkhorn North's [player_tooltip player_id='1114606' first='Barry' last='Fries'] is back on the board after being released from his signing with Iowa State. Basic logic points to this being a pretty quick recruitment considering Fries is 6'4" and 225 pounds with excellent speed to reach any part of the field. Fries ended his senior campaign with 76 tackles, 6.5 TFLs, 2.5 sacks, two interceptions, and a forced fumble. Fries excels as a downhill thumper who can blow up opposing run games while still being able to flip his hips to drop back into coverage.</li>

<li>It's surprising to see a player who just had the season Millard South's [player_tooltip player_id='402165' first='Teagan' last='Urban'] had and is still on the board going into the new year. Urban was the main catalyst for a historically elite defense, posting insane numbers like 113 tackles, 43 TFLs, 11.5 sacks, three fumble recoveries, two interceptions, and a forced fumble. Urban plays outside linebacker for the Patriots, but also has the potential to play nickel/safety with his quick twitch and high football IQ.</li>

Miller ended the season with 96 tackles, 11 TFLs, 3.5 sacks, an interception, and a forced fumble. Miller has the type of size you look for at the next level, standing at 6'2" and 210 pounds, while also coming from a championship pedigree at Bennington.</li>

<li>This was a bit of a breakout year for Papio South's [player_tooltip player_id='487616' first='Ayuel' last='Geu'], who helped the Titans reach the state championship. For being a cornerback, Ayuel had solid production as a senior, recording 43 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, and an interception. Geu's physicality stands out to me, showing he's more than willing to challenge receivers at the line of scrimmage and make plays against the run. Good length and size for the position at the collegiate level.</li>

<li>Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1600215' first='Porter' last='Mathews'] is a sleeper prospect who has quietly been highly productive and has produced strong tape. As a senior, Porter posted 91 tackles, a TFL, three forced fumbles, and three interceptions. Mathews also recorded over 700 yards of offense and eight touchdowns on the year. Mathews projects best as a safety, where he can see the entire field, use his speed to flow sideline-to-sideline, and apply his instincts and ball skills in coverage.</li>
