It is never too late to prove yourself. There are so many levels to that too. Some athletes don't have the chance to play consistently until their senior season and when they get the chance prove they can ball out at this level and the next. Some athletes have produced in the past, but come in and blow those numbers out of the water. Others have expectations and completely shatter them. We have a bit of all that in this recap of the breakout seniors from the 2025 season. Coaches, these are your steals. Almost all of them are uncommitted and they are impact players. There is something for every level in this article, so dive in.

I would not have guessed that Kobe would be apart of this article. As a junior he was a 1,000 yard rusher and a State Champion. Then his senior season happened. Kobe finish with over 2,000 rushing yards, and 27 TDs on the ground. The senior RB put on a weekly show of his elite traits. Traits that have earned him FCS and FBS offers during the season. Kobe's athletic traits are D1 quality. Speed, agility, explosive acceleration. Plus the vision and that innate ability to find ways to create monster plays. Kobe is going to jump up our boards both in the overall and RB rankings. It was an unforgettable senior season for the talented RB.

Kingston became so much more disruptive as a senior. A key piece is that he has continued to fill out his powerful frame. He played his senior season an 265 lbs while staying at DE and it led to him setting strong edges vs the run and getting to show off how forceful his hands are when hand fighting so that he could pile up TFLs through the season. I was able to watch him live and seeing the big man burst and bend off the line were both no doubt D2+ level traits. He can win with that burst and with his power. Kingston is turning himself into a mismatch in the trenches and seeing a spike in his recruitment late last summer and into the season.

Nick might be one of the 10 most impactful athletes in WI this season. His 68 tackles, 26 TFLs, and 15.5 sacks were all huge jumps from 2024. Nick came back in 2025 thicker and stronger, yet more explosive. Nick will be a huge riser during our rankings update and coaches seem to agree as we have seen a few offers come in this season and after the season ended. Nick has such a deep bag of moves to create success. Speed around the edge, the ability to bend, an array of hand fighting moves and leverage/power to get underneath big OTs and get them off balance. Nick improved his game and it translated massively to the field. His best football is still ahead of him too. Come get this steal.

Jeffrey is one of those kids who had to bide his time and wait his turn. In his senior season the 6'3" 185 lbs dual threat QB got his chance and didn't look back. Ford piled up 1,249 passing yards, 13 TDs and added 413 rushing yards and 10 more TDs on the ground. As a runner Jeffrey can flip the field. He has the speed to stretch a defense laterally and vertically. Jeff is a threat to beat angles deep downfield and can also use that athleticism to win within the pocket. As a passer we saw the senior show off excellent touch and accuracy on so many passes. He could drop it between defenders or in a bucket to his receiver. The senior also has the arm to attack deep downfield without getting his feet set. Ford may be raw, but his tools should entice several schools that believe in their abilities to develop QBs.

Grant put together a great career at Rice Lake. He spent the past two years flying around the field at ILB piling up dozens of tackles every season. The senior has molded himself into a very instinctive athlete because of that experience. He plays quick, is powerful and stout against the run, and a great tackler. The reason he makes this article is because the Eau Claire commit also stepped in at QB1 and was a key contributor with his legs and with his ball handling and decision making. Grant is a kid that could do so much at the HS level because of his athletic gifts. Can't wait to see what he does as a Blugold.

What a season for Trey! The long, lean edge rusher 15 tackles, 3 TFLs, 1 sack as a junior to 71 tackles, 16 TFLs, and 5.5 sacks. Fox turned an increase in playing time into big returns for his defense. Trey is so quick. Both off the line and in space. He can get after the passer as effectively as he can take on an RB 1 on 1 off the edge and corral both for the sack/TFL. Treyvon's quickness carries over to his hand use too, quickly shedding blocks and then flying into the backfield. There is so much room to pack on size at the next level, which will make him even more of a force as his power works towards matching his quick twitch athleticism. Fox's best football is ahead of him. Come get a steal.

What a finish to Gannon's high school career. As a junior he posted 1,178 yards and 9 TDs. as a senior Gannon went off for 1633 yards and 22 TDs. Also noteworthy is his INTs went down from '24 to '25. Gannon also made more of an impact with his legs going from 224 rushing yards and 3 TDs up to 731 rushing yards and 10 TDs. Every way you look at it the 6'2" 200 lbs athlete improved. Turn on the tape and you will see the tools have made a leap too. The ball jumps out of his hand with much more velocity than a year ago and his control over ball placement was huge for the offense. Especially his deep ball accuracy. Gannon is a steal in this deep QB Class. Check out his film.
