Kingston became so much more disruptive as a senior. A key piece is that he has continued to fill out his powerful frame. He played his senior season an 265 lbs while staying at DE and it led to him setting strong edges vs the run and getting to show off how forceful his hands are when hand fighting so that he could pile up TFLs through the season. I was able to watch him live and seeing the big man burst and bend off the line were both no doubt D2+ level traits. He can win with that burst and with his power. Kingston is turning himself into a mismatch in the trenches and seeing a spike in his recruitment late last summer and into the season.

. The senior was the athlete I wanted to see most heading into the game, and despite the loss he flashed over and over. Kingston has done a great job of filling out that frame and making himself more dangerous while doing so. He hasn’t lost any burst off the line, and can now create even more force on contact with the OT because of the 260+ lbs frame. The senior also proved he could bend and run sharp loops into the backfield around OTs. Steward was able to disengage and make stops on the edge on his own and he disrupted a ton of plays without necessarily making the stop. A lot of programs should be coming after the talented DL.

Kingston looked unblockable in Week 1! Between his quick first step, heavy hands, and ability to turn speed into power Kingston was able to work his way into the backfield very quickly play to play. It resulted in a very productive day for the senior DL. Kingston is a special IDL. He is able to get into the backfield so quickly, but it is his power that to drive OL into the backfield that gets him back there so fast. That overwhelming power is hard to find. Especially in an athlete that also has a strong base of athleticism and technique to go along with it. Kingston had a great summer, and is continuing to look better and better. Big things are ahead for this kid.

Rise: 169 Up to 114
Kingston has had a massive growth spurt when it comes to mass. The big fella in the trenches is now up to 265 lbs, and after crossing paths with him a few times this summer it is very clear that the extra size has made him a very difficult matchup for OL. That is saying a lot considering he is coming off 9 TFLs and 5 sacks as a 235 lbs junior. The big man holds offers from Washburn University, Bemidji State, and Oshkosh. Kingston is developing his technical side just as quickly as his physical growth. Heavy hands, a quick get off, and the ability to turn speed into power shined throughout his camp reps. His ability to win with quickness or power leave OL in bad situations of Choose Your Own Adventure that always end in getting beat. Kingston is poised for a massive year as he fully unveils what he can do at that massive size.

Despite being 235 lbs, much less than the guards/OCs he usually faces, Kingston was a problem on the interior. The 6’3″ 235 lbs junior wins with an effective combo of power and quickness. The ’26 attacks with a plan and with a variety of moves from a rip to a spin move and will also counter off one move seamlessly. Kingston has also shown that he can slip through gaps with his quickness off the snap. Finally, Steward also shows strength in his upper body to toss blocks to the side before corralling a ball carrier. I’m excited for the Sheboygan athlete to make a name for himself.
