Expert Analysis
Mark Johnson | Prep Redzone Scout
Grant put together a great career at Rice Lake. He spent the past two years flying around the field at ILB piling up dozens of tackles every season. The senior has molded himself into a very instinctive athlete because of that experience. He plays quick, is powerful and stout against the run, and a great tackler. The reason he makes this article is because the Eau Claire commit also stepped in at QB1 and was a key contributor with his legs and with his ball handling and decision making. Grant is a kid that could do so much at the HS level because of his athletic gifts. Can’t wait to see what he does as a Blugold.

What a game for the UWEC commit! Grant led his team perfectly Friday night. On offense he made great decisions on his reads running that dynamic rushing attack, and when he did keep it himself the physical athlete was able to grind out yards, wear down the defense, and showed off some elusive running break off his long TD run on the ground. Grant’s big frame was able to break tackles and move the pile in short yardage situations. On defense he looked at home. Quickly reading and reacting, flowing through traffic, and sticking some hard tackles that shut down forward progression from the talented New Richmond backfield. I know UWEC is pumped to have this dawg on the way next fall.
