Stats: 3 Receptions, 59 Yards, 1 TD, 6.5 Tackles

Will was an impressive athlete to watch. He has an elite frame, but even more special is how effortlessly Will moves at that size. Crisp routes that quickly got him open in the passing game. He had the speed to stretch the field vertically, and a couple of his grabs highlighted outstanding ball tracking and hands. His body control to be able to run those routes as well as provide coverage on defense while playing safety allowed him to make plays all over the field and change direction quickly. The floor for this kid is D2 in my eyes. He is a talented prospect with so much more potential to develop. It was a great night from the senior TE/S.

The TE position is one of the best positions in the Class of 2026 and the top newcomer is Rice Lake’s Will Svendsen Will Svendsen 6'5" | 205 lbs | TE Rice Lake | 2026 State WI . Will fits the mold of the receiving TE. A long, lean frame that still has the power to use his size to create separation and also gain yards after contact. Will plays the position more like a big WR, though. He has the speed to get downfield and behind DBs. His ability to go get the ball off the top shelf or between levels of defenders is impressive. The TE has natural hands that catch the ball away from his body and are able to secure the catch in traffic too. Developing in the Rice Lake offense has also given Will plenty of chances to develop his run blocking so he is far from new to that part of the game. The offer list is strong and could grow early this season.
