The top athlete to know on the Rice Lake sideline was junior TE/LB Bjorn Helstad Bjorn Helstad 6'4" | 210 lbs | TE/LB Rice Lake | 2028 State WI . The 2028 has a really solid frame at 6’4″ 210 lbs. On offense he is a smooth athlete who can effectively attack the middle of the field and pile up yards after the catch. He is also a developing run blocker and has the athleticism to be able to get up to level two to land key blocks to spring his RBs loose. On defense he did really well defending the run between the tackles. He was able to fill and stay clean while meeting the RB and bringing them down quickly. The two way athlete is definably someone to keep an eye on over the next year.
