The state of Georgia is expected to take a step up in the next round of playoffs in all divisions, but arguably the most competitive is the 4A playoffs. This is a playoff slate that is the home to many talented teams. Last year's state title winner was Perry, who has already been defeated, and this has led to one of the toughest playoff brackets to predict.

Here are five games that fans should pay attention to the most, and one player who could be a game changer in each contest.

Game 17: Ware County vs. Creekside

This is going to be a fantastic game. Creekside is one of my picks for the state title in the division this season, and that is because at times they feel complete, but at the same time, the Ware County Gators will give them a major run for their money. This game will be the highlight of the day I believe, as this one will highlight many awesome matchups, which will have both teams needing to be at their competitive best. I believe this game is easily one of the better games to watch, both in the division and in the state. The winner of this game, could very well win the state title, in my opinion.

One of the players that people need to pay attention to in this game is Eric Paul. Paul is a defensive back and a wide receiver who has breakaway speed. Arguably the fastest player in the game, and someone who can turn a three-yard catch into a touchdown. He is a run-after-catch machine that plays with some extra juice almost always. He is going to have a chip on his shoulder in this one, as he is a senior who will have hopes of ending his season off the right way.

Game 20: Southwest DeKalb vs. Kell

This is one of the games that is also near the top of the list, as I can safely say that my pick to win the state in this division remains Kell. Kell has a lot of firepower, but they have a lot to bring to the table even in the trenches. They have multiple star players who fit the description of future college players, including some committed players. One of the players that has been at the top of the list is the player that I mentioned below. As for Southwest DeKalb, they will be tasked with pulling off an upset, but they are great in their own ways. They are a sneaky team, which is one of the common factors of some of these away teams in the bracket. I anticipate this game to be a one-score contest.

There isn't a more impactful player in this game, as the talented linebacker has been dominant at both linebacker and tight end. He is one of the better players in the state, and he remains a top prospect in the state of Georgia when it comes to playing with aggression. He wants to get the ball back, as he plays a lot of see-ball-hit-ball. He is someone that I have covered multiple times this season, and he is currently committed to the Tennessee Volunteers, as he is someone that I could consider as the best linebacker in the state, away from maybe one or two names that have been more productive in the full high school years. He is someone who can change the outcome of this game on both offense and defense.

Game 19: Warner Robins vs. Cartersville

This is another game that has my interest, as Cartersville is viewed as the big bad wolf, but Warner Robins historically finds ways to win games, and this is one that they could win. While I do believe this Cartersville team is the team to beat, I believe that Warner Robins is a tough team compared to what their record shows. This is one of the games that could be viewed as a trap game, but even then, it is closer than some other divisions. The Cartersville offense will be what I watch the most. If they show up like we all know they can, then they will be in great shape, but if they don't, then you know it can be anyone's game.

Marchese is one to note, as he is one of the better wide receivers in the state. He is someone who could make or break a game, as if he is hot, then no one is going to stop him. He has a lot to offer, and because of that, I believe he will be a game-changer in this contest. Marchese brings a quick cut to this offense, and he is someone who can beat you in almost any way that you need him to. The more times they can get him the ball, the better.

Game 22: Cass vs Benedictine

This seems to be one of the perfect examples of offense vs defense. Although both teams have solid rosters on both offense and defense, it is safe to say that the Cass offense and the Benedictine defense are going to be a matchup filled with awesome moments. I am completely sold that there will be no in-between; either one team will win by a lot, or win by a very slight margin. The Cass offense is led by a solid QB, but Benedictine has arguably a top player in the nation on the defensive side as a whole. This will be arguably the best offensive vs defensive matchup of the day in the division.

Guyton is a physical EDGE, who brings a lot to the table with the initial contact. He has a deep bag, with a lot of tricks, but is excessively physical on bull rushing for his size. Is one of the better players on the line of scrimmage, and is someone that I believe will only get better along the way. He is already committed to a school, and is someone that I believe will be a game changer in this contest, because if he can get to the QB he will be in great shape.

Game 23: Blessed Trinity vs. Marist

Blessed Trinity has plenty more losses on their record, but all were against good teams, and they were close. However, they will be the heavy underdog in this game, as they play Marist, who is near the top of what they do. They are one of the better teams in the division and have a lot of wiggle room to find their way to the state title, but the underdogs will look to play spoiler to their season. If this is the case, they will need to play clean football and execute on every opportunity they can. They have to limit the offensive mistakes and find some room to go down and score.

Nicknamed "Truth" for a reason. He is one of the better players at the position in the state. He has a lot of potential to be a top-end guy, who has a lot to offer, but with that being said they need to trust him on the defensive side to do his thing. Umenyiora is one of the faster guys on the roster, and someone that can be overlooked because of the younger guys on the team. If he is at his best then Blessed Trinity very well could win this contest. They will need him at his best.
