We are less than a week away from the Class 6 Regional Playoffs, here is a look at a few stars and breakout players for you to know.

Oscar Smith:

The Tigers have not missed a beat since their week 1 loss to Gonzaga. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='521793' first='Lonnie' last='Andrews'] has developed into one of the best quarterbacks in the Nation and Michigan bound receiver [player_tooltip player_id='402779' first='Travis' last='Johnson'] is his primary target. Oscar Smith is loaded with playmakers including [player_tooltip player_id='378821' first='Kymonte' last='Bynum'], Ty'shae Curtis and Charles Mcglown. They will be considered the favorite to repeat in Class 6, but they will certainly have a host of challengers.

Colonial Forge:

Had the chance to catch the Eagles all the way back in week 2 and I knew then that this squad had state title aspirations. Senior Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='853812' first='Brock' last='Brimhall'] has lead Colonial Forge to a 9-1 record and 1 seed in Region B. Brimhall does a great job of spreading the ball to his numerous amount of weapons including [player_tooltip player_id='1645084' first='Jeremiah' last='Wise'], [player_tooltip player_id='1297628' first='Torie' last='Martin'], [player_tooltip player_id='1593988' first='Jaylen' last='Carter'] and Taysean Jones. They have a tough Gar Field squad in the quarterfinals next week, time to lock in if they want to make good on those pre-season goals.

Centreville:

What a run the Centreville Wildcats have been they are currently on an 8 game winning streak. The only defeat for the Wildcats happened in week 1 against Forest Park in a overtime thriller. Centreville's defense has improved as the season marched on but this team goes where their offense goes. Led by Albany commit [player_tooltip player_id='1298696' first='Will' last='Shields'], Centreville is averaging over 40 points per game and Shields is playing like an FCS level quarterback. Receivers [player_tooltip player_id='1298258' first='Jourdan' last='Simpson'], Denzel Dixon and Sophomore Nicholas Solomon should all receive all district honors, Simpson in particular just cracked the 1,000 yard receiving mark. The Wildcats also have underrated bulldozing running back [player_tooltip player_id='1298428' first='Cardin' last='Stover'] for defenses to worry about.

Yorktown

The Yorktown Patriots are another team that may have started off slow but certainly finished the 2025 season strong! After a 1-2 start Yorktown went 6 and 1 the rest of the way including a wild overtime win over Washington and Liberty last week. Rutgers Commit [player_tooltip player_id='855053' first='Brady' last='Owens'] is their go to target especially in the redzone, with a stout offensive line including division 1 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1612257' first='Chris' last='Layman'] leading the way. Samson Schneider is having an underrated senior season at quarterback, he comes into the playoffs with 20 touchdown passes and only 4 interceptions.
