Yorktown’s Chris Layman Chris Layman 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Yorktown | 2026 State VA is big/fast and physical, with another D1 offer in his pocket. Central Connecticut State was his second FBS level offer, this is a great spot for him in my opinion. The 6’4 4.0 GPA lineman should garner interest from the Patriot League before seasons end, he deserves it.

Chris Layman Chris Layman 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Yorktown | 2026 State VA is part of what should be one of the better offensive lines in Virginia at Yorktown High School. He is being sought out by many FCS and Division 2 staples and Emory & Henry College was the latest to over this big man. I will have this young man ranked when I update the 2026 class in early July, he is too big and talented not too.

Didn’t take too long in this off-season recruiting cycle for major institutions to recognize outstanding offensive lineman Chris Layman Chris Layman 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Yorktown | 2026 State VA . I told you about Yorktown’s big prospect previously and Hampton University was the first too listen. The Pirates sent him his first Division 1 offer a little over a week ago and they surely will not be the last.

We missed out on future FCS or higher level offensive lineman Yorktown’s Chris Layman Chris Layman 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Yorktown | 2026 State VA . What a stud this dude is at 6’4 and 280 lbs.. he can play any position on your offensive line. Layman was all conference at Center this past fall for the Patriots where he did not allow 1 sack. He can play guard and tackle at the next level with many FCS schools taking notice. While he has yet to receive any offers he certainly has shown he deserves them with his play on the field the past two years.

He is a road grader with 35 pancake blocks as a junior, expect him and teammate Brady Owens Brady Owens 6'5" | 230 lbs | TE Yorktown | 2026 State VA to be suited up in division 1 schools come 2026.
