#16 Ensworth (6-2) at #1 Baylor (7-0)

- Can the road Tigers go down to Baylor and knock off the undefeated Red Raiders and snatch the region title away from them? Ensworth has a shot, especially if their defense shows up and finds a way to keep [player_tooltip player_id='222957' first='Briggs' last='Cherry'] in-check and slow down [player_tooltip player_id='1210671' first='David' last='Gabriel-Georges']. The Tigers play well in the front seven with [player_tooltip player_id='1132842' first='Blake' last='Surratt'] leading the way. They have been good all season against some quality offensive units but the Red Raiders will be the best they have faced this year. Playing ball control on offense with [player_tooltip player_id='1940925' first='E.J.' last='Gibson'] along with strong play from the defense looks to be the road towards victory for Ensworth.

#7 Germantown (7-1) at #11 Munford (8-0)

- This is a non-regional matchup in “Week Ten” but could be one of the best overall games as these are two of the best programs from the West Tennessee region. This is a test for both Germantown and Munford to see exactly how good each is and what they may need to tweak going into the playoffs. The Red Devils are dripping with potential but haven't played up to standards, especially with all the college talent on the roster, however they sit at 7-1 overall. Their defense has a challenge this Friday against [player_tooltip player_id='1281919' first='Bricen' last='Turnage'], [player_tooltip player_id='1585458' first='Tay' last='Starks'] and the Cougars run game. Munford will look to control the ball and leave the Germantown offense on the sidelines. This is a very interesting matchup of style of play with the line of scrimmage being a big factor on whoever comes out on top.

White Co. (7-1) at Upperman (6-2)

- The region title is on the line here between the Warriors and the Bees in what could be one of the more entertaining games coming out of “Week Ten.” White County is the surprise team in this matchup with a 7-1 overall record that has gotten the job done this year with strong defensive play and opportunistic action from their offense. The Warriors defense has a big task on their hands in this game as they need to find ways to keep [player_tooltip player_id='1254853' first='Bronzden' last='Chaffin'] from going off as well as keeping the Bees rushing attack dormant. The ground game will be on full display within this contest as both teams will look to play ball control defense and lean on their defense to get enough stops. This could be a close one that goes till the final minutes before anything is settled.

Bradley Central (6-2) at #12 Maryville (7-1)

- As things sit right now, Maryville resides in poll position to win their region but they must get past a Bradley Central team that has quietly gone under the radar as a 6-2 team that has enough talent to go on the road and upset the Rebels. It won't be easy for the Bears as Maryville has been playing at a high level with [player_tooltip player_id='1723184' first='Will' last='Jones'] and the Rebels offense performing near flawlessly. The Bears must lean on [player_tooltip player_id='1594746' first='Kenyon' last='Phelps'] and their run game to find success while keeping Jones and the Rebels offense on the sidelines. Maryville has a tendency for scoring early and often and if the Bradley defense allows that to happen, the Rebels could be marching towards victory and winning the region.

#15 Peabody (8-0) at #12 Huntingdon (7-1)

- If anybody had Peabody sitting at 8-0 this deep into the season, you were onto something as the Golden Tide are in prime position to win their region but must get past who some may consider the best team in Huntingdon. The Golden Tide travel to face the Mustangs in “Week Ten” in what is one of the more interesting games to follow. We will know exactly how good this Peabody is because the Mustangs will test them, especially on defense where [player_tooltip player_id='1103033' first='Jayden' last='Jennings'] and the Golden Tide front seven has a tough task finding answers to stop the Huntingdon rushing attack. Keeping the Mustangs offense off the field is critical towards the road team winning. Creating turnovers may also play a key role in this game as well.

#21 Mt. Pleasant (7-1) at #22 Lewis Co. (7-1)

- Coming off their first loss of the season, Lewis Co. will be looking to get back on the winning track this week but have a tough game to work through with a 7-1 Mt. Pleasant team coming to town. The key matchup in this game to watch should be the Tigers defense versus a talented Lewis Co. offense. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1103499' first='Drew' last='Ray'] and [player_tooltip player_id='491438' first='Kade' last='Carroll'] could be tough mismatches for the Mt. Pleasant front seven. The Tigers have talent in the secondary with [player_tooltip player_id='480892' first='Jalen' last='Smith'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1704649' first='Jayden' last='Lanier'] but I don't see the Panthers throwing the ball too often, so stopping the run will be critical towards pulling off the road win. Whichever team comes out on top, wins this region, so this matchup is very important for both. I foresee a low scoring, defensive affair here with the outcome not settled till the very end.

#13 Antioch (8-0) at Clarksville (6-2)

- The Bears hit the road as not only the favorite to win their region but also in this game versus the Wildcats. Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='378901' first='Andre' last='Adams'] has been playing at another level this year, generating a Mr. Football caliber season while leading one of the better offensive units in the Mid-Tennessee region. The Wildcats have played well this year, doing what they must against the teams in front of them but this will be their biggest test of the year. One thing that could be in their favor is with [player_tooltip player_id='1103508' first='Jamarcus' last='Watkins'], [player_tooltip player_id='1635948' first='Joshua' last='Anderson'] and their secondary. Watching the inner-game matchup between the Bears receivers and the Clarksville secondary will be fun to watch.

Rhea Co. (7-1) at McMinn Co. (5-3)

- The Cherokees have been on a bit of a slide over the past few weeks and the path doesn't get any easier in “Week Ten” as they host a 7-1 Rhea Co. squad that has looked good against solid competition this year. McMinn Co. must get their offense back on track as they may be tasked with scoring on almost every possession to keep up with Golden Eagles potent offensive attack. The ground game with Jakaryn Dyer has been solid but incorporating [player_tooltip player_id='1566136' first='Nathan' last='Kessler'] more could provide more explosion and quick scoring for the Cherokees. Receiving a strong performance from their defense could also go a long way towards picking up a big region win. This is a big one for both teams but maybe even more so for McMinn Co., who needs the confidence moving into postseason play.

South Fulton (7-1) at Dresden (6-2)

- The region title is on the line here in this West Tennessee, Class 1A matchup. The home Lions have reeled off six wins in a row after starting the year 0-2. They have leaned upon their veteran running backs in Luke DiPietro and [player_tooltip player_id='1690526' first='Cooper' last='Allman'] to produce on offense while their defense has been suffocating and smothering in the red zone. The Lions have two big games left with this one against South Fulton being the biggest as they can take the region title with a home victory. The Red Devils have been quite good themselves with a balanced team that is led by their offense. I expect this matchup to be close with maybe Dresden pulling away in the end with their run game taking over.

#20 Walker Valley (7-1) at #25 Sequatchie Co. (6-2)

- This may be an out of region matchup in “Week Ten” but it should be a fun one between two East Tennessee programs that have their eyes on deep playoff runs. The Mustangs have one of best offenses in the state right now, led by [player_tooltip player_id='540015' first='Chase' last='Stephens'], [player_tooltip player_id='1125399' first='Roman' last='Eulo'], [player_tooltip player_id='1871502' first='Sawyer' last='Boyd'] and their passing attack. They are putting up silly numbers right now that opposing defenses are having a hard time slowing down. The home Indians have a tall task stopping the highly potent Walker Valley offense. They will need big games out of [player_tooltip player_id='1547372' first='Harrison' last='Smith'], [player_tooltip player_id='904934' first='Kason' last='Hicks'] and their defensive front seven in their pursuit to cause havoc against Stephens.
