The best defensive lineman in the state? That is up for debate. He will be a great nose tackle at the next level, and is one of the better run stoppers, but for him to play off the edge, he sure can rush a quarterback. He finished this game with two sacks, which is impressive considering CHS was using its quick game to its advantage.

The Christian Heritage ball player is one of the better offensive linemen on this team; however, he is undersized tremendously at the position. I much prefer him setting the edge, and he did just that in this game. He is one of the better players at this time when it comes to setting the edge in the area. I would love to see him get home to the QB more, but he did a solid job at stopping the run in this one.

Stallion is undersized at the wide receiver position, but the Lions use him correctly at WR. I am a fan of him at running back, which I didn't get to see him at in this game, but in the slot, he is quite reliable. He would be a more intriguing prospect with a better frame, but he makes the most of what he can control. This has gotten him looked at, and that is what counts. He had some big moments in this one and was intelligent with his task. I talked to him after the game, and he was disappointed that he didn't have the most stellar night, but I had to remind him that it isn't only about the big plays, but instead about coming up big in the opportunities he had. He had zero mistakes, and his leadership shows. He had a brilliant performance.

Corn is another undersized prospect, but he makes the most out of what he can. He played well on both sides of the football, but I was mostly impressed with his DB skills. He walked away with an interception in this one, which was the biggest defensive play of the game. He held strong at DB despite having to play against two defensive linemen at wide receivers in some very weird but impactful offense setups. Corn is electric, and the team is at it's best when he is at his best.

The talented tight end is one of the better pass catchers in the area at the position. He remains one of the better to do it, and was the MVP for the Lions in this game. He plays with a lot of heart and will be needed as the Lions progress through their season and into the playoffs. I anticipate him to be someone who makes a huge stride to end this season, which will be something that I keep an eye on.
