He's also scored six touchdowns so far this season. In five or so plays, you get a good glimpse of what his straight-line speed looks like. Smith catches a couple of bombs thrown to him in the first few plays. I like the post-corner route he runs near the endzone for a touchdown, which shows his quickness out of a break.

Celevand has been impressive through the first half of the season. He's caught 34 passes for 649 yards and eight touchdowns through last weekend. He's a stud and an excellent get for Virginia Tech, the school he's committed to. He has the size, long speed, quickness in and out of breaks, and the ability to accelerate quickly. All of it is impressive for a player of his size. He's an all-around football player who can also play defensive back. As Cleveland's yards per average indicates, he's a big play waiting to happen in the passing game.

So far this season, Campbell has caught 35 passes for 623 yards and six touchdowns (has 850 yards of total offense and seven total touchdowns). One thing, among other things, is evident in his highlights: Campbell can reach top speed quickly. He's given the football in space, which enables him to take advantage of his speed and quickness in 1v1 situations. Campbell is on the smaller side, but he's a great fit in Bethel's offense as a slot receiver. His film shows him getting open in both man and zone situations. Cambpell is averaging a healthy 17-plus yards per catch so far this season.

Morrison has caught 33 passes for 585 yards and three touchdowns so far this season. The majority of his catches in the highlights show him making plays on the perimeter in various ways. There are a couple of plays early showing him catching passes downfield for touchdowns. Morrison scored on a wide receiver screen pass in the red zone, demonstrating an ability to make someone miss in space. He also shows an ability to set up the defender on a couple of stop-and-go routes that end with him making a catch 20-plus yards downfield. Morrison is a dependable pass-catching option for his team.

Evans has caught 35 passes for 546 yards and four touchdowns so far this season. Looking at the numbers, you can see he's made the most out of his opportunities (15.6 yards per catch). As a route runner, he's more of a strider than a burner, which makes sense for a player his size. He knows how to use his frame and length to his advantage against small receivers. I'm impressed with his ability to play the safety position at a solid level for his team. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets converted to safety. With a little more weight, you're looking at someone who could be a solid safety at the next level, with the advantage of knowing how wide receivers think.

Stock Risers: Wide receivers making noise in the Tidewater Region

Stock Risers: Tidewater Region running backs who are shining

Past the midway point: A look at 5 Tidewater QB's
