As we inch closer to the end of the regular season, it's almost time to update our senior rankings! We begin with the quarterbacks. It's a solid class that has gotten better with several guys developing at the proper rate this Fall to make this crop much deeper.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='914547' first='Kaedyn' last='Marable'] - BGA (Current Ranking: 103rd overall/8th QB)

- Potentially nobody in this article moved their stock higher than Marable as this Mid-Tennessee quarterback has pushed his game to another level, showing me capabilities of spinning it on the D1, possibly Power Four playing stage one day. The Wildcats senior has begun to grow into his body and it shows with his game play and arm power. Marable is throwing the ball with more strength, displaying more zip while continuing to be accurate and decisive. He is a calm, poised performer that doesn't get rattled and keeps his eyes down field, looking for the open receiver. Running the ball is also a strength for Marable but he is a pass first guy. You will definitely see a big bump in his updated ranking and I wouldn't be surprised to see some D1 schools come calling before Marable must sign on the dotted line.

- - - - -

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1153810' first='Taylor' last='Hasselbeck'] - Ensworth (Current Ranking: 90th overall/7th QB)

- Hasselbeck was already sitting inside our Top 100 prospects but I can see him moving higher during our upcoming update. A big reason for the potential rise is due to the Tigers quarterback senior performance thus far and his continued development behind center. Hasselbeck is a cerebral guy that understands how to run an offense and make the right reads. His right arm also looks stronger. The Tigers senior has shown the ability to push the ball down field further while also being able to make some of those tough throws you find on the college level. Hasselbeck also looks a tad bigger, like he is beginning to grow into his frame. Wyoming is certainly gaining a quarterback here that will make their room better and potentially become their starter one day.

- - - - -

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='205650' first='Blaine' last='Stansberry'] - Oak Ridge (Current Ranking: 212th overall/16th QB)

- The ascension of Stansberry began in the off-season where the Wildcats signal caller started to show vast improvement with his body, his arm and his overall understanding on how to play the quarterback position. The first thing Stansberry did to boost his stock was adding in significant weight and transforming his body, which now looks college ready. The added size shows up with his arm strength. Stansberry shows more power and zip with his passes as well as better accuracy deep down field. He was already a good athlete and Stansberry has continued to show his pocket awareness and mobility throughout his senior year. This East TN product isn't the tallest but he is a gunslinger with arm talent that can continue to flourish as he matures and grows into his game in college.

- - - - -

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='964976' first='Kannon' last='Burroughs'] - Green Hill (Current Ranking: 143rd overall/13th QB)

- Arm strength and long term talent was never the problem with Burroughs but taking his game to another level was needed and I think the Hawks quarterback has done that this Fall. When you look over his senior highlights, you see a multi-talented signal caller with great size, a well built body and a right arm that can sling it all over the field. Burroughs is also one of the better dual threat quarterbacks coming out of our senior class that appears to have gotten faster. All the physical tools are in place for the Hawks quarterback to carve out a starting role one day on the college playing stage. If Burroughs can continue to understand defensive coverages while knowing when to release the ball, he will find a starting job with UT-Martin sooner than later.

- - - - -

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1422897' first='Tyler' last='Thompson'] - Marshall Co. (Current Ranking: 211th overall/15th QB)

- Thompson may not be having the stat stuffing year like his Mr. Football run last season but the Tigers senior quarterback has improved as a quarterback and done so in the right areas. I've had the chance to scout Thompson several times throughout the year and he has vastly improved his arm strength while adding in more weight, which helps his overall game. You can see more power and zip coming out of his right arm. You can also see increased enhancement with his understanding on how to read defenses and make the proper throws. Thompson is an accurate passer that knows how to throw into windows while also providing dual threat capabilities. Not sure how high up the rankings Thompson will go but he will rise due to definite senior improvement.

- - - - -

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='540015' first='Chase' last='Stephens'] - Walker Valley (Current Ranking: Watch List - Unranked)

- One of the biggest stock risers this Fall from the quarterback position has been this East Tennessee senior that has shown the game play and arm talent to warrant more college looks. Stephens has been excellent this season, leading his Mustangs team to a current 6-1 record while putting up some big numbers. His arm strength and ability to push the ball down field is what has stood out the most to me about Stephens this season. He throws with nice purpose and zip on his ball along with the ability to fit it into tight windows. The Mustangs senior throws one of the prettiest deep balls as well. Stephens does have mobility but he is more of your prototypical pocket passer. He may have to work his way up the college ranks but Stephens does have the potential to carve out a role on the next level.

- - - - -

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='795241' first='Isaiah' last='Batten'] - Pope Prep (Current Ranking: Watch List - Unranked)

- Batten moved back to the Mid-Tennessee area during the off-season, so he missed out on our first senior rankings but you can bet he will be added in the next update. Standing 6 '3 200 plus pounds, Batten is a physical presence behind center that has some of the best mechanics in the state. The Knights quarterback has shown this Fall to make all the throws out there with his smooth throwing motion and powerful right arm. Batten tosses the deep well but can also spin it while on the move. He is a good athlete that maneuvers the pocket well, keeping his eyes down field while showing a nice feel for the rush. Batten still has plenty to work on but the talent is there to spin it on the D1 level one day with continued development.

- - - - -

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='353896' first='Jackson' last='Stroup'] - Gallatin (Current Ranking: Watch List - Unranked)

- Currently committed to Virginia Military Institute, Stroup is a tall, true pocket passer that simply continued his progression as a prospect this Fall that shows potential for the next level. Now I say continued because the Green Wave was injured a few weeks, which has caused him to miss the rest of the year. Stroup did however impress by displaying clean mechanics, accurate passing and improved arm strength. I have scouted this 6'4 passer a lot over the years from 7v7 action into the actual Fall seasons and Stroup has continued to get better each year. He is not your athletic runner but the Green Wave quarterback is a poised performer that stands tall in the pocket and delivers the ball on time. Stroup is a clean prospect that could see the field at VMI early in his college career.

- - - - -

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1582354' first='Jaxon' last='Dabrowski'] - William Blount (Current Ranking: Watch List - Unranked)

- The Governors are having a lot of success this season and a big reason for that has been the play of Dabrowski. This 6'1 senior signal caller took advantage of the off-season process to develop his skill set further and it shows on the field. Dabrowski is a dual threat guy that runs well but he can also spin it as well. He shows vast improvement with his arm strength, which displays better power and zip along with fitting the ball into tight windows. I like how the ball comes out his hand and his ability to throw well while on the move. The Govs senior quarterback does need to continue getting bigger, adding in more weight but the raw tools are in place to make his way into the college ranks.

- - - - -

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1562192' first='T.J.' last='Jenkins'] - Lausanne (Current Ranking: Watch List - Unranked)

- Jenkins is an undersized quarterback but a confident guy that brings clean mechanics, solid arm strength and athleticism to the playing field. He has really stepped up this senior year and pushed his game to another level. I like the way he handles the pocket by staying away from pressure while keeping his eyes down field, looking for the open receiver. Jenkins is one of the better athletes from our senior quarterback class but he is a pass first guy that will rely on his arm before taking off and running. He doesn't have a rocket arm but Jenkins does sport enough arm strength to get the job done. The performance he has put forth so far this year has definitely earned him a spot inside our updated rankings as well as an opportunity to continue his development on the college stage.

Current SR QB Rankings

- - - - -

Other Quarterback Stock Risers: [player_tooltip player_id='1115203' first='Kolby' last='Jones'] - Unicoi Co., [player_tooltip player_id='523936' first='Maddox' last='Franklin'] - Lincoln Co., [player_tooltip player_id='1562196' first='J.C.' last='White'] - Lipscomb Acad., [player_tooltip player_id='1940546' first='Braxton' last='Howard'] - Hollow Rock-Bruceton, [player_tooltip player_id='1953737' first='Cooper' last='Campbell'] - Notre Dame

As we inch closer to the end of the regular season, it's almost time to update our senior rankings! We begin with the quarterbacks. It's a solid class that has gotten better with several guys developing at the proper rate this Fall to make this crop much deeper.
