A coveted recruit at the Division III and NAIA levels, [player_tooltip player_id='1599553' first='Ayden' last='Antonelli'] showed flashes of what he could be at the next level on Friday night.

The team leader in tackles-for-loss with 13.5, Antonelli uses his length and motor to fight on the edge of the Anamosa defensive line. With plus-length, the 2026 defensive lineman/linebacker uses it well to create separation between he and the opposing OL. A two-way player for the Blue Raiders, Antonelli -- though he stands at just 6-foot-1 and 205-pounds, holds down left tackle for Anamosa on offense, too.

Probably the best athlete on Anamosa's roster with a frame to make plays, [player_tooltip player_id='1635070' first='Adam' last='Brophy'] didn't get the ball enough on Friday night.

Catching just one pass and fair-catching two punts, Brophy should have had the ball in his hands much more for the Blue Raiders. The one catch he did make, Brophy reached out and snagged a reception on third-and-medium, gaining the first first down of the game for the Anamosa offense who struggled to get going. Doubling as a defensive back, Brophy finished the night with 7.5 tackles.

One of few players on the Anamosa roster who could make something happen with regularity on offense, [player_tooltip player_id='1370608' first='Hudson' last='Scranton'] led the way for the Blue Raiders on the ground. With 15 carries for 73 yards, Scranton averaged 4.9 yards per carry, and he also returned four kicks for 78 yards.

Having his name called all night by the PA announcer, Scranton is the go-to offensive attack for Anamosa, and he has been that for the majority of the season. Likely one game away from becoming a 1,000-yard rusher, Scranton has taken 202 carries for 958 yards so far this season.

Propelling both touchdown drives for Anamosa, junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1969628' first='Reilly' last='Shaw'] scored once on the ground and once through the air for the Blue Raiders.

Scranton was the one consistent offensive attack throughout the game, but Shaw's play kept the Blue Raiders in the game in the first half on two separate drives. Just when Alburnett looked like they had a chance to pull away up 13-0, Shaw led a scoring drive where he burst through the offensive line in the redzone for a score. Early in that drive, he completely trucked a Pirate DB.

Shortly after, he threw a dart of a touchdown pass on a wheel route to the far side for a score.

Shaw threw that ball to 5-foot-7, 135-pound target, Hudson Welton.

After a short run by Scranton, Anamosa went for the shot play following a muffed punt by Alburnett, as Shaw connected with Welton from 25 yards out. Shaw threw a dart of a ball, putting it only where Welton could get it, and the junior defensive back/receiver went and got it for the over-the-shoulder catch to give the Blue Raiders the lead over their district rival.
