About Adam

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play all out on every play, 100% and leave everything on the field. I will play wherever coach puts me to the best of my ability, whether it be WR, safety, punt renturn, or Defensive end on occasion.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I believe in sportsmanship, and team and the feeling of family on our team. I will do whatever is asked of me to the best of my ability and ask questions so I understand and give my coach and team everything I have.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in speech, choir, show choir, plays, and set production and have been awarded the Director’s Distinction award in choir and Best Performer twice in Show choir two years in a row. I have also made All State speech in group musical performance.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I help coach my little brother’s sports teams when I have time, and I believe I have learned a lot about leadership not only from sports, but in music. Teamwork has been a huge part of my life not only in sports and music but in my home life as well, as I have been raised as a single mom am with 4 siblings, so we had to learn teamwork at an early age which helped me so much especially in sports.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I feel like had the challenge of being the younger brother of following in 2 college athlete’s footsteps and making my own way. Sometimes that was difficult for people to see me as my own self, but it was a great feeling and sense of accomplishment to have that break out year and feel like I made it.

What type of college are you looking for?

Somewhere I can continue learning and growing, a coach and team I click with with a team feeling of family where I can get my education in criminal justice.

Probably the best athlete on Anamosa’s roster with a frame to make plays, Adam Brophy Adam Brophy Adam Brophy 6'3" | 185 lbs | WR/DB Anamosa | 2026 IA didn’t get the ball enough on Friday night.

Catching just one pass and fair-catching two punts, Brophy should have had the ball in his hands much more for the Blue Raiders. The one catch he did make, Brophy reached out and snagged a reception on third-and-medium, gaining the first first down of the game for the Anamosa offense who struggled to get going. Doubling as a defensive back, Brophy finished the night with 7.5 tackles.

A receiver with ball-skills, Brophy served as a deep threat for Anamosa. Showing the ability to consistently track the ball and come up with tough catches, but also capable of leaping and snagging the ball away from opposing defensive backs, Brophy is a weapon in the passing game for the Blue Raiders.
